Of all the new laws for this season i think this one is going to cause mayhem, mainly because fans won't know the law has changed. However it is bonkers, this will cost teams goals this season

It’s a difficult one but I would suggest yellow cards to those players who are screaming in agony and slowly hobbling off only to be miraculously cured like they’ve been touched by Jesus the instant they cross the touch line. |  |

When have most football spectators ever know the Laws let alone the difference between Laws competition rules.
There will be a clamp down on time wasting including goal celebrations. There will also be stricter action by 4th officials regarding technical areas only one person at a time allowed to be in it plus action if managers leave the technical area.
Automatic cautiona if two or more players approached or protest to the referee. Tye Referee will be encouraged to caution at least one of the players. | |

That last bit, any player besides the Captain that approaches the ref without being called by him should be booked.
It works just fine in Rugby. Any player who swears at the ref should get a straight red, even a FFS ref should get a red.

Therefore more chance of getting yellow cards which in turn result in reds.
Its to stop feigning injury to get free kicks and also wasting time.

I think these rules are class there were a few offenders last year Rotherham come to mind. Where the keeper is taking the p#ss , how many times last year did we got through time wasters killing the tempo of the game. | |
