Old Oak Primary on Mellitus St near the Scrubs
Henry Compton (now Fulham Cross Academy) just off Fulham Palace Rd near Fulham's ground - Bishop in bed, knock him on the head, cut him in three, throw him in the sea.

I had a mate, sadly no longer with us, who went to Henry Compton. He called it ‘Enry's ‘Oliday Camp.

Not that local to W12. Sir Henry Floyd in Aylesbury, where there were 4 or 5 Rs fans in my year. Easy trip to Marylebone.

I was at the school just across town from you, Aylesbury Grammar School.

Some kids from the comprehensive school opposite sneaked in one night and spray painted a smiley face on the dome of our observatory

"Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1."

Was in the St John's Ambulance at Perrin Rd.

Aside, a previous MB host, Mr Drew Garro, could probably throw a stone from his house into the playground.

Throwing stones, eh? He wouldn't have been the one who threw stones at me as I walked to school, somewhere near Sudbury Town? At age 5, I was given advice about how to deal with bullies ;-) Oh, by the way, that would have been about 1952!

Malorees Infants & Juniors, Brondesbury Park, NW6. My brother teaches there, 49 years after he left.
St. Benedict’s, Ealing W5. Run by sex offenders but it never did me any harm. Brent Council paid to export Catholics like me, perhaps I could sue them for putting me in danger.

Also attended Malorees Infants and Juniors. Mr. Singer was head. Left around 76 or 77 I think. Then Cardinal Manning in Ladbroke Grove, followed by several years of Old Boys football for them.

Infants & junior in North London, then onto a mixed comp in 1967.

Moved south of the water and went to Wandsworth Boys scho0l, hated it, only blessing was an all girls just down the road, Mayfield Maternity was its nickname.

Best thing was on leaving a pyre of school blazers set ablaze in the playground.

I left in 1975. Mr Singer, lovely man, Mrs Cobb, not so much? Do you remember Mr Rainbow, the drama teacher? He only retired a couple of years ago.

Fox Primary School in Notting Hill

Then rejected by Cardinal Vaughan where terrifying headmaster Father Kenefeck reduced me to tears during the interview.

Went to St Clement Dane's on Du Cane Road instead and in the 6th Form was captain of the football 3rd Eleven (in other words, not very good).

Wally Downes was in my year.

Didn't go to school.

Bunked off from age 10. By 13 was a crack addict and by 15 was an associate of the Kray twins.

At age 18 I was chief operations officer for the civil service specialising in advising members of Parliament and in particular those in the cabinet. Natural order of progression.

Went watch QPR at 19 and life took another turn.

Positive or negative - God only knows !!!!!

Could have been described as lots of things but a holiday camp from 79/80 it was not.

It's always noisiest at the shallow end

Yes, I have fond memories of all the teachers save for Mrs Cobb who slapped my legs more times than I care to remember. Mr Rainbow was fantastic. We also had a great sports teacher called Mr Williams. There's a Malorees Facebook page and I joined some former class mates for an exchange a year or so ago, which was nice.

John Perryn
Gunnersbury

Claim to fame.
At JP, 1st game for school team. Opposition was Hogarth, captained by Gerry Francis. Never came to much, did he?
