Glastonbury 2023 on 10:50 - Jun 24 by union_jack | Big shoes to follow though. Needs time to be totally accepted. He’s a confident guy though, always something to say. |
Techically and musically ,he s nowhere near the standard if Hawkins .He seems out of sync. That said,no band stays as good as they were ,including the Foos. As for Violet Grohl,…think she needs singing lessons .

Glastonbury 2023 on 18:20 - Jun 24 with 1249 views | britferry | I watched 3 songs of the Artic Monkeys, felt depressed and turned over, reading the reviews today, I didnt miss much watched the full Texas set on iPlayer, she's still got it, last time they were there was 1999 ;o(

Glastonbury 2023 on 18:29 - Jun 24 with 1243 views | 1983 | Not really my thing but Tom Grennan was good he's just living his best life and I can see him just getting bigger and better. The Arctic Monkeys were absolutely abysmal total gash! Lightning Seeds were ok but still dining out on that song!

Glastonbury 2023 on 19:34 - Jun 23 by britferry | Foo Fighters were good Where the hell do they get those poles for the flags, they are massive, then again, I used to use a similar line in Barons |
Well if you like a half decent band of musicians and an unfit lead man who screams is way through the set then there you go.
Glastonbury 2023 on 21:02 - Jun 24 with 1211 views | Togg | Lizzo FFS...let's celebrate the fact that her and her dancers are young and obese and overweight. What a message to young people. Stuff your faces with Greggs/ Macs etc and just wait for diabetes. Now Sparks the night before. Two gentlemen in their seventies without an ounce of flab between them . Great set but I think Russ's jig should be retired. [Post edited 24 Jun 2023 21:20]

It’s good to disagree ain’t it. Food are not the same force they were, It’s what comes with age. Sound system didn’t do Grohl any favours. His d@ghter was rather anonymous . Their legacy is terrific though and Everlong an all time classic . Manics,I thought ,were very good. Brad field still ha# his voice. Sean Moore has put on lots of weight and Wire still looks the same

Are you kidding??! Josh Freese is one of the most technically advanced rock drummers out there. It could be argued that Taylor sounded better in that particular group but he’s technically nowhere near the level of Josh Freese.

Agreed. Certain drummers suit certain bands. Another example is Chris Slade, technically a far better drummer than Phil Rudd but AC/DC just sound better with Rudd behind the kit.
| Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back. |

I watched Caroline and the Kings who I had never heard of. The lead singer "Caroline?" went topless which i noticed even without my glasses on and I thought that would cause a bit of a storm in the red top press. Bravo I thought. The singer was French and it was all a bit avant gar. All a bit arty. "Culture see butt" I thought. I looked up the Glastonbury feedback and found nothing about this other than Lewis Capladi also went topless. How bizarre i thought Further research and speaking to my genned up Gender transitional clued up coffee baristas at Nero cafe explained Caroline a was a "they" not a 'he' or 'she'. Born biologically male.

I’m not. Read what many others say. Hawkins was irreplaceable . I stand by every word Good to discourse with you in a new spirit of brotherhood. Innit

Glastonbury 2023 on 18:25 - Jun 25 with 984 views | Togg | I hate to say it and eat total humble pie but Rick Gastley was very good. Always had a good voice but played guitar and the drums to Highway to Hell . Still hate his SAW songs though. Blondie rocked. Clem has always been an amazing and underated drummer. Glen Matlock fair play. The worst decision Pistols made was bringing in Sid Nasty. Debbie sung well .
Glastonbury 2023 on 18:54 - Jun 25 with 968 views | onehunglow | CT Stevens …yusuf. Simply astonishing. Blasts away the hasbeens by a non sweary non excess, demonstration of what a singer songwriter is all about . Best performance I’ve seen there If you have his legacy of songs then you have preeminence Just beautiful

Wow!!! I was going to write that. Proper singer songwriter not like that ginger guy and Capoldi geezer who just gush shit like, l love you baby songs with not a nuance in sight. Up there with Dylan, Joni Mitchell and Paul Simon. BBC butchered the editing on Moon Shadow though. Sacralige.

Just got him on now Togg. You have taste Sir. What is special about Cat ,Neil Young and James Taylor is that they earmark years of our lives that when repeated 50 years later , makes the passed years seem less painful. I feel sorry for anyone perceiving Ed Sheeran as a great .

https://images.app.goo.gl/uo6ybj44s73UtJkX9 IOW 1970 this brings back memories £3 for the weekend if you actually paid and an estimated 700,000 there. Making parliament pass a law in 1971 banning gatherings of over 15,000 on the island. Real music Real times.
