Ex Wales footballer Ron Davies is still one goal ahead of Haaland. Ron scores 37 goals in the old First Division in 1966/67 season. A few weeks ago Haaland looked set to easily break that record. He now has one game to match or beat it.

I saw Ron score for Wales with a header from a cross, (@ Wrexham in the old home internationals) he jumped so high, the defenders heads only came to his waist !

I though Terry Paine was a defender as well. I remember Paine but not Sydenham.
