We clearly already have players capable of getting good enough results to compete for the playoffs in this division despite the wailing about January, yet for so long we've been forced to watch a manager do his level best to sabotage that.

It was lacklustre Lifey, Huddersfield were shocking we just weren't clinical enough to have put them away, that had 3 nil all over it at least, losing Ntcham didn't help Paterson was dreadful and Cooper confuses the life out of me, he looks industrious but with little end product.
Why Whittaker ain't starting his baffling he looked very bright when he came on and always looked to go forward [Post edited 15 Apr 2023 19:04]

Could understand the early season issues bedding in two new young defenders who had not played at Championship level, but Martin fell into a winning back four with the loss of Latibeaudie supplemented with the experience of Naughton.
Manning got injured before the loss against Burnley we won a number of games some against ten men after moving away from the four man defence on Latibeaudie return but struggled for form
Back to a back four and we are winning again remembering against teams we should be beating, why Darling was not playing? Who know perhaps Martin realised he could get away with using Latibeaudie against Wigan and Huddersfield and is saving Darling for the sterner test of PNE. | | | |

His aerial duels are an issue, his passing is perfect, could be he saw Huddersfield as bombarding the box, which they didn’t.
I see him as a presence against PNE. | |

I’ve read he looks disinterested,lazy,etc when the lad has some class. Sadly our coach doesn’t see it.

I truly feel for Morgan who has been treated as badly as any player I remember. Yet, he is not given support whereas Russy does. My God, we truly are warped.
