Space and comet's 19:14 - Feb 2 with 1588 views | CountyJim | Is anyone amazed how they worked out this comet they've just discovered orbited the earth last time in stone age how do they work that out because it's only just been discovered 🤔
Space and comet's on 20:06 - Feb 2 with 1549 views | Dr_Winston | Once you track an objects course for a short period it's probably quite straightforward to extrapolate its entire orbit from there (if you have a Phd in Astrophysics).

Space and comet's on 20:45 - Feb 2 with 1512 views | theloneranger | "The icy green comet was only discovered on 2 March 2022, spotted from the Zwicky Transient Facility in California. Astronomers calculated that it had an orbital period - the time it takes to travel round the sun - of 50,000 years. That would put its last journey this close to Earth as back in the Stone Age. The comet is thought to have originated in the outskirts of the solar system in the Oort Cloud. NASA describes the cloud as a "collection of icy objects farther away than everything else in the solar system". It's so far away that no spacecraft have yet been sent to explore it, though there are some en route. Unfortunately, it will take so long for them to get there that they will be long out of power by the time they arrive."

It also helps when you have lots of powerful computers that you feed the data into and they give you the answer!

Yes the truth is that packed inside that comet is a secret army of immigrants from the andromeda galaxy that are being brought here by the government to lock us in our homes for some reason.

it's so they can steal all the 20mph signs, apparentlythey are a very popular snack out in the Andromeda's. Thing is, the Andromedans are only 0.3 mm tall, they actually invaded early in 1979 but nobody noticed. They gathered at a council depot but unfortunately we were having a really cold snap and they were loaded onto a lorry, all 17 trillion of them, and used to grit the roads. The new invasion was scheduled to reach here during a warmer spell, so beware the tiny green army from the big green comet.
