The transfer window deadline day thread 21:03 - Jan 27 with 27574 views | KeithHaynes | Could be the most interesting day in years. Clubs are playing some serious chess games. And agents are going to ensure it’s better than any soap opera.

The transfer window deadline day thread on 18:37 - Jan 31 with 2937 views | PatchesOHoulihan | So frustrating so far but for me it’s not the massive doom and gloom some are making it out to be None of the players we’be let go were realistically going to play this season (rightly or wrongly) Personally hope Paterson goes with them We’ve got enough (fitness permitting) in the team and if not we’ll have to blood some youngsters If Whittaker can be integrated back in and hits some form we may even look better going forward Although this in now way forgives the lies we were told about the upcoming window before Christmas.

The transfer window deadline day thread on 17:40 - Jan 31 by raynor94 | What a cynical thread this has turned out to be |
Cynical or truthful? It’s looks like we are getting a Man City youngster in who has no goals & no assists in 10 appearances in 10 games PL2 & have lost a striker who Vincent Kompany & his top of the league side sees something in (& feel they can manage). Depressing.

We down to the bare bones though, a couple or 3 first team injuries and we'll have very little to replace them with, that's the biggest concern.

No argument with that - but Martin clearly doesn’t trust whoever he’s got rid of It’s still a s**t window but it’s not like we’ve lost all our best players…….yet

The yanks will look at it that Martin has gained a player in Whittaker, its whether he''ll have the patience and confidence to play him.

We are a right back and a keeper short of having a decent crack at this league, that's the disappointing point.

Indeed, it appears Risca (news daps is repeating) on the other site has a similar source to me. Also Whittaker could be going to WBA, wants the move and family are lifelong baggies fans. If it doesn’t come off he wants to go back to Plymouth next season. Pato looks like he’s staying and in contention for next game as been involved in first team training this week.

So we still need the 3 players we've needed then, well the goalkeeper situation is a recent issue in fairness.

Whittaker to WBA? Colour me dubious. Pato in contention, surely not? He doesn't deserve it.

Shame you don’t share your sourced info with this website that shares its time and finance with the Brain tumour charity. Especially as they tolerate all that comes with you being on here.

Did you. I see. I think this continued rivalry needs to stop, you are the bigger man here so, please be that person. As for the scoops etc, I couldn’t care we have our own sources who help us because they want to support the websites objectives.

Course it has, as I said if you like being here so much then why don’t you get together with the site owner and or admins and help them out a bit. Is that more logical ? And nobody on here is my mate.

In terms of what? What more can I do? Open to suggestions. I said (on a number of occasions) I could solve the arguments and on going nonsense in about 2 seconds and more than happy to help out. All bickering gets deleted (on either side) the second it starts, as I often see it being planted at source. I have absolutely no doubt posters with extensive contacts would return if certain individuals were policed properly on here and we immediately overnight have no arguments on here, some great new contacts and a welcoming atmosphere. It’s a reality I have offered and continue to offer my services to.

Whatever he's asked for, he's signed on the dotted line for a 2 1/2 year contract. Plus, he said farewell on the pitch at half-time during Newcastle's game with Southampton. The home crowd gave him a huge ovation as he said goodbye to St James' Park.

Fair play to him, there’s so much money in the premier league, I mean look at Bournemouth this window. Unbelievable expenditure.
