Highest Paid Area of Wales 09:13 - Jan 20 with 1999 views

According to this 2020 article is the leafy utopian suburb of Sketty. Whilst the poorest is the dark danky depressing East Kerdiff ðŸ˜Š.
I would have thought Mumbles or Gower would have had higher average wages than Sketty. Or maybe there might be more retired people in those areas. Not to mention the middle class towns of Cowbridge or Penarth.

There are a lot of senior hospital staff like consultants living in Sketty, plus there is a great deal of "old" money. Also easy commuting distance for business directors/owners.

If you review the contribution Universities make to their respective communities then it's no surprise the money which trickles down in wages is reflected elsewhere .
