You have got to do what you have got to do to win away games in the Premier League.
To go away from home in the EPL and restrict the home team to zero shots on target is an incredible achievement. Has it been done this season by anyone other than Man City (may not have even been done by them).

Nowhere near an exact science of course, but you can get a general feel of league trajectories by last 10 game form table.
It won’t churn out any data that claims to predict anything, but always gives a nice indication of where clubs could be trending.
Forest are 14th in that table which marries up roughly with where I’d expect them to finish.

That’s because the rest of the Premier League (barring Bournemouth who spend huge the season before) already had a squad of Premier League players.
If every team had to re-buy their current squad like Forest did, most would have to spend far more than £150m to get their current squads back. For some it wouldn’t cover 2 players.
Forest went up with a very middling Championship team who even spent very little at Championship level.
For example, if we get promoted this season and spend £30m on new players, and Man City deem themselves happy with their team, and sign nobody. Would you expect to finish above them? The obvious answer is no.

Several players signed will come up short. They are looking to move on Emmanuel Dennis already but hope to get their money back. £15m.
