Lying in bed with an infected tooth trying to rouse myself for a day at work before the trip up to London...

It feels like we are in the midst of Mick's first real test. Early season defeats put down to it being early days and a long injury list, a recovery when all players come back and get used to his style, then some alarming performances with the majority of players back and dare I say it when oppo teams find a way of stifling us to the point we stop scoring.

Nothing terminal by any stretch of the imagination, but the lack of guile to break down WBA leading to only half chances was a concern.

Got to bounce back tonight, haven't we to ensure we head towards the break with any sense of momentum...

Fear a disappointment (as always), but going for a squeaky 2-1 win. See you there!

Can we go out yet?

So.................have teams noticed something in Dieng's positioning from set pieces? Or have we just been unlucky with looping chancers?

We're second to the ball on every cross into our box. That's more significant than Dieng's positioning

Bit of a freak like the Birmingham goal. It was millimetre perfect and he couldn't do that again if he tried.

Frustrating. We look better but they're fairly well-drilled and threatening at set pieces. Just need a bit of luck or spark and the come back win should be on. Shame no Armstrong on the bench.

Agreed, it wasn't a criticism as such.

Sounds like we are second to every ball in their box as well. Can't see us scoring again. They probably will though.

Frustrating half as we’ve played well in parts but undone by two soft goals. Clive’s oppo interview suggested that Huddersfield would look for free kicks high up the pitch and we’ve fallen for it twice. Both soft decisions but why even give the ref a decision to make in the first place.

Looks like another one of those frustrating nights. Ward has done his hand waving things 6 times so far and never got his book out.

They have won everything in the air at the back, so we do not look like getting anything from set pieces. Same story in our pen area where they look likely to score every time we give away stupid free kicks near our area.

Atmosphere flat, game not awful, but they really are as bad as Cardiff yet are winning. If I was a neutral, I'd see that QPR is much the better team, but I am not, so fear the worst.

Need a special second half here...

Can we go out yet?

For all our attacking we haven't really made the keeper work. Still, we are due some goals at the Loft End. Let's have three of four in the second half.

Creating chances with every attack.

I wont settle for anything less than a 4-2 Rangers win.

Those goals are way too sloppy, I've said it before we have missed Dunne.

Poll: Preferred rumoured CB

I dunno, they are getting the high balls and, apart from on 90 seconds, our cut backs haven't been accurate enough. Sometimes we could do with someone a bit more direct, to mix it up a bit.

We've got to try and score two goals down the Loft end. Eish.

Don't know if it's competence, confidence or something else, but a lot of what I saw felt half-baked, half-cocked, sloppy and unconvincing. Lion's share of possession, sure, but only two goal attempts. For a side in the top six, we're sure playing like we're not that fussed about staying there. After last season's debacle, I'm really wondering if everyone at the club wants to go up. (It wouldn't be the first time at QPR of course.)

I dunno, we look kind of pedestrian going forward. This is a scratch team Udders have out tonight.
Shirley we'll be a bit quicker second half but not too many attacking options on the bench.
Not looking forward to the time wasting if we don't get a grip soon.
