It’s the big old South Wales derby with nothing to play for but pride and prejudice. It’s LIVE on the tele box too.
Referee: DARREN BOND Assistants: Shaun Hudson and Philip Dermott Fourth Official : David Webb
The incredible Swansea City stat that the derby game against Cardiff has thrown up 18th Oct 2022 11:13 Last season we saw Swansea City put seven goals past Cardiff City over two games in the so called ‘South Wales’ derby. The first ever double was completed in the history of the fixture and Cardiff City were put to the sword over two one sided games. However, there’s a startling stat regards that first home game of last season almost a year ago to the day.0
The Swansea v Cardiff derby game will set the pulses racing 20th Oct 2022 08:00 There is no longer a battle for domination in South Wales between Swansea City and Cardiff City. That was put to bed last season when the swans successfully beat their rivals over two games to record the first ever double in the history of the fixture. As they did so Swansea scored seven goals over those two games to completely embarrass the bluebirds.0

Hudson has played in this game, they'll be prepared.
It’s their cup final that he has to win, can’t argue with that. Mind you over two managers last season it didn’t work. And they had the bloke from Morrisons.
A great believer in taking anything you like to wherever you want to.

Yep. I hate derbies.
Whilst the league form book, the derby form book and karma in general would suggest a handy win for us is more than deserved, I'd never put it past those sh*ts to spawn a win when it's least expected, nor us to give away a stupid goal at the worst moment.
Scrappy 1-0 and move on. Anything else is a bonus.
Why u hate them? You lot always come good? Our u18 or u21 teams can turn you over it seems but when it comes to the first team I have little faith, and haven’t for years. Unless we have a Bellamy or Ramsey playing who can lead us, we tend to not “get it”, or the manager doesn’t. The last victory we had two years ago at yours was a fluke….

After years of watching the swans I am never confident going into a game. Particularly this game. We need to score first. Don’t know why, but I’ve got a bad feeling about this one.

Its an interesting game, Cardiff have improved this season it seems, we seem more determined and more together, but we do concede to many goals and Cardiff can and will create chances, we got to score first and build on the goal and gain confidence from the goal. I thought we came of age Tuesday, in showing guts and passion to get back into the game and then win it, excellent stuff, but we won't always be able to turn games around, so I hope the defence can be sound from the start and remain so.
Games on a bit of a knife edge at moment for me though, I won't be there, but watching on the box and hoping for a performance that'll win us the game.

Need to press on though Steve and prove Burnley was a blip in our resurgence

Win tomorrow and we go 4th.
Depends how Luton do at Watford.
Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.
