That s a fair point . It’s hard to be objective and I really try but ,like most,I probably fail. I ll tell you something ,keep it to yourself,when fixtur list announced I look and plan what games I feel I should go to. This is the first time in 35 years I have simply not bothered. I have changed family dos,holidays and social gatherings to fit in a game. Martin has single-handedly killed my enthusiasm.
Winston is right in that I am never happy,content,hate every manager etc .We all do eventually.
It is all about being cursed as a football fan.
I think people on here have such vastly different opinions over the same thing it is sometime hard to see were they are coming from. I also think people get so wrapped up in it, that its not seen as just a game on the weekend anymore. In the scheme of things its really not that important.

I want my team challenging for the play offs and the Prem much more than a double over Cardiff, struggling down in the bottom half of the Championship for me is anti climatic and does not fill me with excitement, i will really enjoy us being competitive but if we are languishing down in the bottom half in which i expect us to be i guess my pint will just be half full in the enjoyment skates. .

Me too, the double thing was a bit of a throwaway comment, completely agree if we are lower half, it’s not as much fun, but sod it, let’s enjoy it whatever happens.

what does that have to do with anything though I suspect you are harming back to hiw crap we were back back in the 80s and 90s well i share his view I'd prefer we were challenging for promotion rather than finishing lower half and I have been around since pre Tosh days us we fell from the championship it will be fqe worse than that our relegations in the 80s these owners will be gone and the world of football is do different now

Cherish every one mate and take none for granted. We never know when it could be the last. The only thing that beats live football is watching it with family and friends. Everything else is just sterile and lacks the drama and excitement.

These people moan and gripe about the team and manager and these people I suspect would moan about alot of other things as they are naturally pessimistic, it's the way of the world.
My question, which was sincere, was to ask how long that he had supported the swans, if it was 10-15 years then this person has only known success until recently and therefore expects us to either be challenging at the top or actually get to the PL, if he have supported the swans for longer I suspect he is naturally pessimistic, ateotd we all can't be positive can we mate 🤷
