Our newcomers need fr more time on the grass to get used to each other.
Can’t say anyone stood out apart from Piroe.
Although it only a warm up the league starts in less than three weeks.

Ntcham could do more, a lot more

We need BergkamPaterson instead for guile and creativity, esp his linking with JP - JP squared

Ntcham's not a wide player, and this formation seems to require he drop in and create space for danger man Latibeaudiere (who shouldn't be diving and moaning this much in a friendly, come on now). Think we'll see Congreve on before long.

Centre halves look tidy. Not sure Wood is quite as rapid as advertised but has done just about enough to keep track of their striker whenever he's gone through.

Sorinola disappointing so far. Not especially quick and doesn't take on his man, wanting to cut back all the time.

Now we have a proper CH attacking our corners, HD almost converted from MG's precision corner kick from the left

The restart coach has taught Grimes how to clear the first man and get the ball into the box. Another positive.

Happy enough with that except for Wood who looks like he needs getting up to speed.

Ntcham running more than he ever did last season can only be a good thing, yes he has his off days but when he feeling it he is top, top tier, happy to see him run like that

I agree.
Will be a big player for us this season.

No doubt about it, i have always admired him, on his day he can play a pass like nobody else, get him fit and ready and he is one to watch for us

Regarding his fitness , where exactly where was his starting point at getting fit , most of last season he couldn't start a game so what is the problem , if there is one of course

Oh i dont know, he had no club, he had no pre season, he was training himself, the list goes on and on, he is the kind of player that needs a hand on his shoulder, if you cannot see the quality he has then i suggest Specsavers

Shape changed to the wingbacks 3 at the back just before half time. Sticking with it this half.

KN back to CB in a three - his best role, was too uninvolved 1st half

We're looking leggy - despite doing less training than we did under Coops.

Feel for Joel. He is not by any measure a centre half but he got back in and was unlucky with the deflection.

Poor second half. When will Martin abandon this duff system?

Ogbeta showed more as a left wing back than Sorinola.

Didn’t watch it .

It’s always disappointing to draw a game after we were ahead.

Not really. First half I thought the central defenders were excellent. Darling is another gem.
