Strange how they waited until the elections were over to investigate Starmer Beergate party 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
No doubt the hypocrite lefties will want it all forgotten and swept under the carpet, despite Starmer travelling hundreds of miles to be there😂😂😂😂

Exactly, it effing stinks doesn’t it, but not surprising.
What is strange is they put out s statement saying they had deliberately waited til after the election.
What do they think people will perceive from that? I know what I think, it stinks. But wasn't it Durham police who let Cummings go so maybe they are just useless.

I’m not so suspicious about the timing though. The Sue Gray report and further Met outcomes are delayed until after the elections, it’s just the Conservative story broke soon enough to be covered.

There was enough there originally for an investigation.
30 odd of them necking beer and having a curry in a small indoor room hundreds of miles away from Starmers office, when the law clearly stated food and drink should not be consumed indoors by groups of work colleagues.
The fact that the Labour police commissioner for Durham originally tried to ignore all this is what really needs to investigated.
BBC still trying to play it all down after months of pursuing BOJO for having some cake in his garden😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Yes very strange that Durham police decided to wait until after the elections to announce their investigation.
Wonder if that is because the Durham Police and Crime Commissioner is labour.
Nothing strange at all - it’s all to do with pre election Purdah. The Boris allegations are historical and some of the updates preceded the start of the Purdah period. It was reported on the 21st of April that the Met wouldn’t be giving any further updates until after the 5th of May.

If Starmer is fined he should definitely go.

Durham police said a earlier in the week Starmer was not being investigated when asked. Today it comes out Durham police admitted that they held back that they were investigating until after the vote. So either corrupt or incompetent.

There should be an investigation into why the police withheld this information until after the votes had been cast. Smacks of corruption.
No corruption at all. They’ve done exactly what the Met have done and not made any announcements during the build up to the election. It’s pre election Purdah.

Surely that would cover the results of any investigation not if an investigation is taken place. Plus why comment that no investigation was taking place if it was covered by Purdah.

What a load of nonsense. If there is to be a police investigation in whatever matter the police should get on and do what they are supposed to do.
I wonder if I steal a car, I could have any investigation put off until after my birthday
