Season 2007 - 2008, these two were relegated with us from the Championship. How fortunes change.

I always find these things fascinating when doing the blogs. In that same season, Wrexham were relegated out of the football league, and still to return. Brentford finished mid-table in League 2, and are now mid-table in the Premier League.

Leicester went on to be League 1 champions in 2009, Championship champions in 2014, Premier League champions in 2016, and also won the FA Cup and Community Shield last year.

Scunthorpe have been promoted twice since - they returned to the Championship in 2009 after winning the League 1 playoffs and we're runners up in League 2 in 2014.

We've celebrated a handful of relegation survivals

Interesting to see we scored 62 goals which was a good few more than many other teams with our problem being we conceded to many which would have been our first season without Wayne Brown!

Absolutely - everyone predicted we'd struggle to score after losing Curo and Iwelumo, but it was the loss of Wayne Brown at the other end which really made the difference.
