I know you were . I feel sorry for players,almost They need to man up,starting with the club captain and simply say enough is enough .he is ruinin*their careers

The club captain is a joke
He cannot change as I get the impression he is too nice a person to be aggressive.
We need Downes as captain.
Someone to lead by example and rip into the other players or encourage them as needed on the field

I would agree but do worry that Downes may be too volatile ?

Downes can be controlled better .He has at least fire whereas Grimes does not. You can’t really I still fire but you can control it in a human being.

We have no alternatives as I see it for captaincy ,another appalling situation
