They can ridicule those who saw through this months ago all they want.
One set of supporters are basing their opinions on facts. The others are basing it on, quite literally, hope, with no logic or facts to support their arguments.
"It's a transition"
"He needs X players"
"We're giving away sloppy goals"
This style of play has never worked for him. There is nothing to suggest it is improving. The only noticeable difference I can see from the first month is the abandonment of attempting to play triangles around attackers in our 18 yard box (however you could argue that is down to opposition coaches instructing their attackers not to waste their energy - we'll take 2-3 mins to work the ball into their final third anyway). | |
