Swans u23 v Exeter City u23 14:55 - Jan 13 with 1468 viewsKeithHaynes

Friday 2pm, Landore.

Swansea City under-23s welcome Exeter City under-23s to Landore for their latest Premier League Cup fixture on Friday (2pm).

The Swans go into their fourth Group F game looking for their first win, having picked up a point against the Grecians in the reverse fixture earlier this season.

Swansea are currently unbeaten in their previous two outings, having been held to a goalless draw against Watford in their opening game of 2022 earlier this week.

Exeter sit in a similar position to the Swans in the group, with their only point coming against the Swans back in August as Premier League 2 sides Wolves and West Ham set the pace.

A great believer in taking anything you like to wherever you want to.

We used to play regularly in the CoE days.

Never did Joey Allan any harm.

"The visitors equaliser after a miscommunication at the back allows Callum Rowe a simple finish."

Only once when there was a a congestion of u23 fixtures. The Exeter match finished 2-2 with two from Forester w the big lad No 9 signed from Wolverhampton Wanderers who looks as if he is on a mini run of goals.

The u16 u18 and u23 need to be proficient at playing out under pressure. If they are unable to do this after a season or two then 'bye bye'. This is the level for getting the mistakes out of the system.

I have watched Croatian and Austrian u19 teams against an intense Wales press be very proficient at these skills such that the Welsh boys stopped pressing. (no point). You do not need supermen to play like this.

Swans TV have been on easy street for the last 3 years.

Yes and let's hope the keeper has learned from that because hopefully he and his defence will be more aware about the consequence

Shame how Exeter (often described as a bit part club run by a Supporters Trust by someone on here) can come up with a professional highlights package, yet the club seem to have lost interest in promoting the U23’s
