You don’t have to wait it is on iPlayer. I watched it a couple of months back, fascinating documentary & insight into the world of cycling before it cleaned itself up

Hmm.Im a bit of a traditionalist a regards telly.

Armstrong I dont mind admitting was my sporting hero and like thouands of others believed he wasn't doping mainly due to the vicious chemo he had. His fall from grace made me seethe;still does.

I wore his yellow cancer support band and did spend time and effort with victims of cancer no matter what he was taking to do the TdF. My missus -a chemo and radiotherapy client herself cannot watch him at all . We felt let down in a way previously unimaginable.

There are and always will be those who would saythey know he and ALL the others were doping ;the people that make my skin crawl.

Armstrong killed the sport for many many people and the Tour particularly. That said,it is by far man's greatest sporting challenge

And yes I think Geraint was and is clean

just watched the 2 of them.

To get to the top in any sport, you have to be very very good and he was, in an individual sport, you haver to be a nasty ruthless piece of work, he was that in abundance... but he also seemed in denial, somehow.

Pro-Cycling was like going to a cash poker game, where everyone was allowed to cheat and he was the one who ended up winning most. But when others turned round and said we all cheated, he sued them to prevent the truth coming out.

Should have chucked him in jail

he still saying Betsy Andreu testimony was a lie, so the one question I wanted him asked was:
Betsy said "you told the doctor you took performance enhancing drugs" when you were sick in 1996, so did you take EPO, Testosterone or Growth Hormones prior to 1996?

Same for athletes.

Forme is a good example of a cyclist claiming to suffer from asthma. Funnily enough he never mentioned it in his autobiography apparently.

And Sky's use of TUEs, particularly in the case of Wiggins, is scandalous.

Cycling is now one of the most regulated sports on earth with respect to drug testing. While many people remain sceptical (rightly so as it took so long to clean itself up) the amount of testing & length of bans is a significant deterrent. Unlike football & rugby where bans are measured in weeks or matches whereas bans in cycling are generally measured in years
