Who the f*ck does Nancy Pelosi think she is. Britain will do what's right for Britain, the people of Northern Ireland are British last time I checked. The UK has left the EU, if the EU want to play hard ball and not negotiate....then the Republic of Ireland being inside the EU and the UK being outside will require that the Good Friday Agreement is amended. Out of necessity, because of the EU's intransigence.
Now can anyone explain why there is no push back from our government when a US politician makes a statement like this? The correct response would have been for our government to publically chastise her for not understanding the situation and publically advising her to concentrate on getting a grip of the regions of the United States where the Democrats are allowing anarchy to prevail. Perhaps an add on that should the geriatric Marxists win at the next election the US can no longer rely on our military support every time they want to build an international coalition. Grow some f*cking balls Boris.

Plenty of reason to worry it's going to get worse. When Boris does a trade deal with his mate trump. We are going to have all the carp the yanks are eating.
Plus what about the level playing field which give us workers rights? I know you English are anti union but we in South Wales are still willing to fight to keep our workers rights.
I’m not English! Can see Wales out my window too.

I assume that you know why they chlorinate the chicken in America ? But as an old boss of mine used to say, never assume anything because it will make an ass out of u and me. The chlorinated chicken that's coming to a supermarket near you in 2021, the stuff the EU won't allow. Don't forget the workers rights either, or the NHS
Chlorination is not the problem my friend. It’s the reason why. Not that it works very well. Remember Salmonella infection is somewhere between 5 to 10 times higher in the US than U.K.

We have also changed the labelling of food so people will not know it's come from America

Sorry not ment for you. It was ment for the sais
No problem. Merseyside and Chester is hardly a Tory stronghold either. Though I am not a union member as I don’t much like UCU’s ‘right on’ stance to everything

We wouldn't need a trade deal if it wasn't for that Brexit thingy. Johnson didn't do anything when Trump effectively got rid of our Ambassador to the USA either but this didn't seem to bother you. When you say Britain will do what's best for Britain, you mean things like lowering food standards and workers rights ?
No. A UK paper published papers from Darroch, criticising him The media in the U.S. used this against Trump and asked him about it. Trump criticised Darroch and said that he wouldn't deal with him anymore. Darroch then resigned. He didn't have too, Boris Johnson told him to sit tight and let it blow over. Darroch chose to resign.
My personal opinion on that episode was that Darroch's criticisms are probably accurate but it wasn't very professional, or diplomatic, to write about it in the way that he did. In fact his behaviour was arrogant and complacent given the role he was employed in and the context.
No, I mean that Britain will do what is right by it's citizens (this includes our citizens in N. Ireland) and not allow foreign powers to interfere and break our country apart.
It's funny, you lot get your knickers in a twist about supposed Russian interference but welcome it from the European elites or a Democrat President such as Obama. Blowing massive holes in your arguments where your principles should be is too bloody easy though so I'll just

You don't half talk some shit.
Diplomats write frank assessments all the time. Someone, either in our government or civil service, stuck the knife in him and released the notes. Darroch is the only one with a shread of integrity in the whole mess.
It is far better to grasp the universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring. - Carl Sagan

Fair do's you talk some crap. Didn't you see the conservative leader debate or have you conveniently forgotten ? Johnson literally threw him under that £350m unicorn bus. "Told him to sit tight" ? Everyone must have missed that bit. Are you sure you didn't just dream it ?
An ambassador's thoughts and papers about another country are pretty much top secret but they were leaked and only someone very high up can do that but that's ok by you because it fits in to your agenda.
It's his job to write that as it is of every ambassador. Probably above your intelligence level to understand that but there you go.

Chlorination is not the issue. Except it’s not very effective
There is no legal requirement to maintain any welfare standards or even check animals in the US. There is no requirement to provide treatment to sick animals There is no obligation around hygiene, biosecurity or any on farm control of foodborne pathogens There is no intervention until 15% of samples test positive for Salmonella post slaughter
Salmonella infection in the US is more than five times greater than the U.K. There is limited control in use of antimicrobials

Your hatred of anything British is going to consume you completely kilks.
Yes I agree with you treforys.you have to move on. No matter what deeds we done in Ireland in the past, you have to look forward. If it's any consolation it's not the only country we fecked up.
