Fact is, Lis, bright kids leaving school around here whose parents don’t have thruppence have two choices, if they‘re lucky, the steelworks or the forces.
To diminish the horizon even further they are now apparently monsters because they’re white.
It won’t wash. I’m not having it.

Who decides who's bright or not?. It's discrimination right there.

If you are not on the left then I really am confused.
I haven’t read all your posts but the posts I have seen are in the Politically Correct Looney Tunes category. For example, you want to ban the police and you think “No white person anywhere in the UK” suffers discrimination.
I don’t want to ban the police you pillock. I believe that there are problems in society dealt with by the police and criminal justice system that would be better dealt with in a different way. Many police forces feel the same.
And I don’t think no white personal anywhere in the UK suffers discrimination. I think no white person in the UK suffers systemic racial discrimination.
If people stopped exaggerating for effect, or making stuff up in their own heads and started actually reading what people are saying it may lead to a better discussion.
I’m very far from being ‘on the left’ as you describe it.

"There are too many contradictions and anomalies in that story."
No shit sherlock. A foreign spy who then helped the west understand Russian thinking, who had a police handler, who was almost certainly monitored and all at a period post numerous assasinations of Russians in the west.
I'll leave you with these thoughts. Why did the Russians try so hard to hack the OPCW at the Hague whilst the tests were on-going and why did they, falsely claim that the Swiss lab had found a combination of other agents and not Novichok, why did they claim so many patently rediculous things? (... their usual maskirovka)
Because ducks, that's why. Or something.

The OPCW have fiddled results from Syria and I suspect that Russians didn’t trust the Salisbury evidence to be treated impartially.
Everyone is spying on and hacking everyone so it would be no surprise if Russians were trying to hack into the OPCW site. America and Israel are very close allies yet Israel has a long record of spying on America.
Even if OPCW acted impartially they could only examine the evidence provided by the British who could have added anything to the evidence. This is in a summary of their Charlie Rowley report:
"The team requested and received splits of biomedical samples collected by the British authorities for delivery to the OPCW Laboratory and subsequent analysis by OPCW Designated Laboratories."

You have obviously not read the link. You said you wanted evidence but you are just a time waster. I don’t know how old you are but I’ll give you a few tips. Life is short. You’ll find out how short it is when you get to my age. Don’t waste your time and the precious time of others by asking questions unless you are prepared to listen to or read the answers.

I did read some of it. Someone told Trump some ducks were poisoned but that turned out not to be true, therefore Russia didn't do it. I have to admit I'm not convinced by that logic.
I asked you what two Russian agents were doing in a small provincial city, only 500 yards from Skripal's house. Fancy trying to answer it? Do you believe they were sightseeing as Russia claims?

I imagine most of us ordinary mortals understand the meaning of the word defund, and some of us perhaps not so taken in by the objectives of the political organisation behind BLM, co-founded in the US by self confessed ‘trained Marxists’ who believe their ideological structure for the movement remains. But let’s look at BLM UK where much of the money is going here...
BLM UK, Makes it clear it is an Abolitionist and a Political Movement and that they shun Black people who don’t meet their political aspirations and want reparations
BLM UK Twitter Statement... 7:56 pm · 21 Jun 2020·Twitter for iPhone “Statement on yesterday’s ‘protests’ being hijacked by reformists. Remember: all skin folk are not kinfolk. #BLM #BlackLivesMatter
Self appointed ‘leaders’ who work with or for the police and state are not here for the furthering of Black liberation, just opportunism and to depoliticise the movement. Be mindful, not all skinfolk is kinfolk.
We are an ABOLITIONIST movement, we do not believe in reforming the police, the state or the prison industrial complex. It is a direct contradiction to BLM for events to be held promoting reform and subduing valid criticism of the police, the government and Boris Johnson. And when events are meant to be those heavily affected by police violence like LBGTQIA + Black community, this is especially disrespectful.
–––––- About BLM UK
BLM UK was set up in 2016, did a couple of airport protests then pretty quiet until now.
They have raised over a million pounds out of this current situation through Gofundme, they are not a charity, and are very reticent to say who they are, but they certify they are black.
Which is interesting as it is reported that many long-standing race relations campaigners disagreed with their airport protest and that Stafford Scott, co-founder of the Broadwater Farm Defence Campaign, said of the second protest
‘the only black thing in the entire protest was the Tarmac on the runway’
Ewa Jasiewicz, (a former Guardian writer, described on their website as a trade union organiser, living in Manchester) a white woman of Polish descent, was involved in both the 2016 airport protests.
She achieved notoriety in 2010 when she spray-painted ‘Liberate all ghettos’ and ‘Free Gaza and Palestine’ on one of the few remaining walls of the Warsaw ghetto, where tens of thousands of Jews died in World War II. She also called for Israeli politicians to be ‘bumped off’.
She made further headlines in 2018 when it emerged that she was scheduled to speak at Jeremy Corbyn’s party conference in Brighton. Her appearance was eventually dropped, amid a noisy row over anti-Semitism, after Labour’s deputy leader Tom Watson claimed it would offend ‘taste and decency’.
It is unclear whether she is still involved with Black Lives Matter UK
The group claimed it was targeting British airports in 2016 because they contributed to global warming, which will cause disproportionate harm to people of colour. ‘By 2050 there will be 250 million climate refugees,’ said a spokesman. ‘Black people are the first to die, not the first to fly, in this racist climate crisis.’ –––––
Let’s look at their objectives in their own recent words...
Gofundme BLM UK... We’re guided by a commitment to dismantle imperialism, capitalism, white-supremacy, patriarchy and the state structures that disproportionately harm black people in Britain and around the world. ––––-
Their Twitter site... We’re guided by a commitment to dismantle imperialism, capitalism, white-supremacy, patriarchy and the state structures that disproportionately and systematically harm Black people in Britain and around the world.
Our commitment to all Black lives means that we lift up the experiences of the most marginalised in our communities, including but not limited to working class, queer, trans, undocumented, disabled, Muslim, sex workers, women/non-binary, HIV+ people.
Amongst calls for transparency and demands to reveal the leadership behind BLM UK, we are currently dealing with emergency legal matters following last week’s protests in addition to the hostility of far-right groups. This is a genuine threat to our safety and, whilst organisation and process plans for the fund are soon to be shared, we thank you for your patience, but cannot compromise our safety at this time. Some of us are already public-facing figures and have spoken out as members of BLM UK.
...reparations of black people dealing with generational trauma and institutional racism is wholly possible. The redistribution of wealth is a key factor of allyship in 2020
A few tweets...
Aye get rid of the police and prisons and lets bring healing practices in as you state to deal with those who want to cause trouble . Jesus wept ! –––––
The state is the bourgeois state, for any good to come of it it must be replaced with the Socialist state first before creating the withering of the state Regardless of some policy qualms people had with Lenin, he was right about this ––––-
A source recently told The Guardian newspaper that Black Lives Matter UK is being run by ‘a core of around ten activists’ including a man called Joshua Virasami, ‘who has been with the movement since its incarnation’.

How any of that is relevant to me saying I don’t want to ‘ban’ the police I don’t know.
What a waste of your time.

Ah wasting my time on here, must have been inspired by you Lisa.
I think it important people understand the actual aims of the organisation taking in most of the BLM funds here
And it is far from reform based on that old issue of crime prevention at root. It is all about dismantling our social structure, a political movement as they state.

The website you quote, is just a single organisation. They actually say in what you copied and pasted that it’s a grass roots movement (that’s what the ‘Marxist’ bit refers to in the clipped interview you keep quoting as you’d know if you bothered to listen to the whole interview). One of the founders explains why - she didn’t want it to be an organisation with personalities and only one ‘acceptable’ aim. The movement’s only aim, as she has said any number of times, is to make black lives matter.
BLM is a movement made up of hundreds, probably thousands of organisations and groups. Some of them will have different objectives to others. All will have the overarching aim to make black lives matter. Some I will agree with, some I won’t. I agree with the overall aim which is why I support the movement. I do not think at present black people’s lives are seen to matter by society as a whole, the systems and structures of society, as much as white people’s lives do.
You’ve chosen to focus on a group because you believe them to be extreme. You did it the other day with an American group, ascribing their views to an entire movement. Many different groupings will want to dismantle certain structures of our society because they don’t work for them. That doesn’t mean they are all anarchists, or Marxists, or anything similar. I want to dismantle certain structures of our society as well, because I don’t think they work for anyone other than posh white boys. Doesn’t make me a Marxist.
If you devoted time to understanding what they are saying rather than screeching in horror and spending hours looking for reasons to disparage the whole cause, it would be far more productive. The reasons you have for trying to discredit an entire movement - only you know. The rest of us can only speculate.

So politicians and celebrities line up to celebrate those with ‘black lives matter’ banners, but a man who prints a banner that says ‘white lives matter’ is a “racist” and lefties rejoice as he loses his job.

What is our scale structure? How does equality for all represent 'dismantling our social structure'?

Are you unable to read? The woman has posted direct quotes from BLM organisation whereby they outline how their aim is to dismantle our social structure...and then you repeat the lie that their sole aim is equality for all.
It’s the same mental block as some have on Islam; ‘it’s a peaceful religion’ is the mantra repeated as people who think themselves intelligent put their fingers in their ears and cover their eyes to the reality of what the Quran says, what prominent Muslim clerics say, and what the Islamists who control Islamic countries do.
