And, while we're at it, Spike Milligan was famously disgusted that anyone would have any Japanese products in their possession, after their troops' vile behaviour in WW2 (check out what they did in Singapore + they used to use live POWs for bayonet practice).
Anyone on here who owns, or has ever owned, a product manufactured by a Japanese company needs to take a very hard look at themselves, apparently.

I expect the greatest destruction of statues in the 20th century took place in Eastern Europe in the 1990s, when huge statues of Lenin were tumbling all over the place.
I don't think there's any chance of of the Polish, the Czechs, the Hungarians etc forgetting their hated communist pasts.
