Very proud to be voted Planet Swans Poster of the Year 2017 by my fellow posters. Especially on a site that nearly had 20 million impressions last year.

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Ayew has totally changed my opinion of him. The man is giving is all when he could so easily act the billy big bollocks like his clunge of a brother. He should be made captain immediately and Grimes told to shape up or f*ck off.
Jordan is doing well as is Andre. The second spell for Andre must be frustrating for him. Shows how good McBurnie and James were in this league. Cant see Routs making much of a difference though would prefer to see Waybe fit for Christmas. Going to be a few squeaky ass games coming up starting Next game. Ref didnt do us any favours in this game thankful for the second red but by then we must have needed subs to come on after chasing the game. Interested in Steves post match update.

Couldn't watch the game but from what I've read, it sounds like we played ok. Clearly not the best, but an improvement. It sounds like Carrol went well but too bad he's going to be suspended for 3 games.
And I see Cooper is back to using 1-2 subs again. He did it early in the season but it didn't really matter because we were winning. But he HAS TO MAKE SUBS EARLIER. Where was Borja? Where was Peterson (and why was he not in the squad)? Why was Kalulu brought on too late yet again? Heck, he even could've used McKay seeing as he can make an assist every now and again.
At least he finally changed the formation though!
I'm still Cooper In, but we've dropped below the 10th place I kept talking about. The talk about his job security is justified now.
After Fulham I looked at the next 10 fixtures and expected 5 wins and 1 draw to take us to 46 points by February. We lost to West Brom as expected, but dropped points to Blackburn. Cooper needs to get to 40 points at a minimum by February, or he's not the answer.

Not at the game as I’m away with work but sounds like Carroll had a good game. Two yellows strangely doesn’t bother me terribly, and to look on the bright side at least he’s getting his foot in which Grimes and Byers certainly do not.
If it tells opposing teams we mean business and we aren’t going to be walked over - if that’s the case Wilmot at CDM, Cabango at CD along with Hoorn and play Celina in the middle , Ayew up front and Kalulu plus Peterson on the wings. There should be a massive change in impetus and perhaps we’ll finish the season strongly.
At least Carroll has Crimbo off so not the worst time for a 3 match ban lol . Is there any way we could appeal ?
Each time I go to Bedd - au........................

We could appeal it, but it seems impossible to overturn a suspension these days. It's good news that it's only 1 game though.
Wilmot definitely needs a go as a DM, especially if Cooper has dropped him from his usual CB position. Byers should only be used as an impact sub with 30 mins to go.
I feel we need a way to allow Grimes to play further up the field, to almost force him to pass forwards. There's no doubt he has ability and is low on confidence. I like the idea of a flexible 3-5-2 like Sheffield United use. Naughton, VDH, & Bidwell as defenders. Kalulu and Peterson as wingers, with Wilmot, Fulton, & Grimes in the middle. Wilmot slides back as a DM, Fulton holds the fort with his physicality, and Grimes plays further up the field. Ayew and Borja as strikers, side by side.
Surridge in for Borja as a sub Celina in for Fulton Routs in for Peterson

Grimes was great tonight, Byers was average. I wish our fans would support our players rather than moaning about them everytime the touch the ball.
Had two muppets sitting next to me who moaned about Robert's, Bidwell and Byers. I wish they would stay at home rather than moan all night.
Well you were there live so fair enough but from watching on TV I do not see how Grimes could be rated as great tonight.
I'm all for supporting the players but the fact is we have been horrible in midfield all season despite the decent results in the early stages and the same players are playing week in week out.

That’s what it’s actually feeling like but we are 4 points from third. Got to keep hoping it will click. Whatever the question is, Grimes and Byers ain’t the answer. They ain’t clicking anytime soon. It’s time for Cooper to pull his head out of his arse.

Grimes experienced a torrid time when he was at Leeds but to be fair he was playing in a sh*te team then. I got the impression at the beginning of this season that Grimes was doing well at Swansea, has his form dipped?

If ‘great’ means largely ineffectual defensively and offensively and sloppy in possession, he was great. He wasn’t the worse by a long shot mind. Decent enough corners in the main (a couple where he failed to clear the first man). He was ok I thought, but no more.
Such a frustrating night and a horrible watch live.

I enjoyed the game battled away Ayew was outstanding again. Byers needs to be dropped. Grimes did ok but no more.
The ref cost us the gsme definite penalty with the hand ball.
Officials apart, as they were to say the least appalling, we really need to look at ourselves and our midfield as they were atrocious yet again and they are costing us valuable points. A sloppy pass led to Blackburn's goal and there was again far to much sideways and backward passing and all done at a snails pace. There was no-one with the vision to cut a decisive ball through to the forwards. Grimes in my opinion has gone backwards at a rate of knots since being given the Captaincy and Byers really needs to look at himself as once again he fell well short. Celina also appears to have lost his little bit of magic that always shone through in games as he could be the key to winning games with his individual skills. There are to many players simply not performing to their ability and we have lost the clean crisp Swansea way of passing quickly and efficiently which was a joy to watch. If the hierarchy cannot see it the fans certainly can and unless they give Steve Cooper something in January we will continue to languish as a mid table side looking downwards rather than a top six side looking upwards.

Can understand wanting to be entertained. Forget playing entertaining football for now. Need points on the board and players to follow orders. A few too many mistakes being punished howvere we should have had two penalties and Ayew and Suds had good chances. The cut back by Carroll for Byers in the area was sublime but Byers skyed it. One match out for Tom and would have been good to have Carroll in for next game. A decent performance, cant expecf FFF until we hit 40 points.

I didn't think it was a sloppy pass I thought it was Byers getting outmuscled and ending up on the floor again? May be wrong though my memory isn't what it was.

If Cooper can't keep our better players from last year and the start of the season firing on all cylinders I don't see giving him new players to send backwards will help for very long.

I was at the game but didn’t have a good view of the handball , it wasn’t on Quest or the Sky highlights , is there footage anyone has seen? It seemed everyone close was convinced it was handball.

I was there...Byers was awful.
Fans pay their money, and if they think they are being short changed by certain players, then they are allowed to let those players know.
