There has been talk this morning that a 18 million bid has been accepted from Sheffield United? I wonder how true this is? Is anyone able to shed some light. We will see at 2pm today when the team sheet is published.

Very proud to be voted Planet Swans Poster of the Year 2017 by my fellow posters. Especially on a site that nearly had 20 million impressions last year.

Was it not Huw jenkins in who signed James and Mcbernie on for about £325k?
We are now looking at a profit of £37 mill.

As you say he took his share into his own pockets, but a sum of more than £37m was also wasted on Wilf and Andre Ayew - it was around £32m in transfer fees, with wages it absolutely dwarfs what we've made on these two, and that's before you bring Borja, Mesa and Sanches into consideration. And yet, people defend him!

We will discover the truth about the Daniel James transfer saga with Leeds as it was being filmed for their Amazon Prime documentary series which is due to launch in August.

I’m fed up with Leeds already this season and it hasn’t even started yet!

Sky have an advert for the new season featuring most of the PL clubs and in the middle of it they show a clip of Leeds with the commentary “and Leeds in the Championship”. So brace ourselves for seeing them week in week out.

Overhyped club given their recent track record. Well supported, yes but that doesn’t make them a great football side. Failed again last year😄.

Nope, not keen on them.

No we won't - we will get the Leeds version of events as they want them presented.

Seems like we are doing the right thing, have a good bid on the table, seeing if there are any suitable replacements available and only moving oli if we can replace him.

Or are we just waiting for the financial side of the deal to be structured differently. i.e more money up front now rather than spread over a few seasons (that way the Yanks can go back to their hedgefund to show how well they are doing with their investment)

That's what I'm hoping for.

If he's sold now without a replacement it would be another diabolic transfer window.

Maybe I’m being overly optimistic with Birch, but I don’t think he’d stand for that

More likely risk playing him Saturday so he can say his goodbyes.

BLADES STILL WANT MCBURNIE

Swansea are still considering Sheffield United's bid for Ollie McBurnie with the Blades working to agree a deal for the player before the August 8 transfer deadline.

United have been busy adding to their attacking options already this summer, bringing in Callum Robinson and Lys Mousset, but yesterday put in a second bid for the Scotsman which could potentially rise to £20m.

Surely the owners would take £15Million let alone £20Million?

Something doesn't add up here maybe the offers are lower and we are still trying to talk them up to £15 mill?

We probably would take £15m, but why not drive the offer up.
