Not A Bubble, but not far off. 07:23 - Jul 25 with 11841 viewstaffpunk

After a meeting yesterday, it has been decided that the Derby at The Liberty will not be a full 'Bubble' trip. Cardiff fans will have to meet at Felindre to collect their tickets, and will be escorted to the ground from there.

Second Time Around Record Shop-Tonypandy, RCT-Open Friday and Saturday. Valley Leaflets-Reliable Leaflet Distribution throughout South Wales.

How would you get a train there? Seems pretty obvious to me the vast majority would get coaches there and the rest would drive.

They then get bussed in a convoy from there to the ground and back.

Not sure why everyone is getting so wound up about it as the only real change is the buses to the ground set off from there instead of from Cardiff.

Train to High street, not Felindre, then taxi's out to Felindre.

It's a huge difference if they have got to use official coaches to get TO felindre and not just from there to the ground.

I will guarantee you that if they are allowed to use their own transport, there will be a shedload of trouble prior to getting to Felindre, and the same will be true for the reverse fixture.

I couldn't give a f*ck personally, as you know I attended these games way before the bubbles were brought in.

I want a mate like Flashberryjacks, who wears a Barnsley jersey with "Swans are my second team" on the back.

Not even entered your thick fckn head that they can travel by wotever means and just grab a taxi( or run probably) over to felindre. Ain't that far out. Be interesting to see how many have the balls.

Fair play, you are a real charmer when someone has an opposing view, it's going to be a 11 30- 12 30 kick off, I should imagine they will have to be there by 10 to pick their tickets up with their names on

You give it out, you take it back it`s all part of the game

Do they have to get official coaches from the CCS to Felindre? If so, it’s a bubble. If not, there’ll be carnage somewhere, probably in a few places.

If they have to use official coaches to get TO Felindre then it's just a normal bubble with a pointless stop in Felindre.

Personally I can't see enough being dull enough to do as you said re: the train to cause any real sort of commotion and they certainly won't be seeing the game, no matter how much they think they might.

Anyone wanting to get a train to Swansea on the day of the derby and not seen the game could have done so previously.

Hence me pointing out that it is a huge difference if that is the case.

I was speaking to someone and they said that the only thing this does, is allow people from e.g. the rhondda, not having to go down to their stadium to get on the buses, instead official travel group coaches can start their journeys at pre-agreed locations.

And no, i don't think many would get the train in either, but plenty would use cars and mini-buses if they are allowed to get to Felindre under their own steam.

Taff punk has stated they have to make their own way to Felindre and that= carnage no matter what time it kicks off

What it does do is open up the door for trouble in surrounding areas such as Neath both before and after the game.

Not that there isn't usually anyway obviously!

Aye, it'll be significantly worse than recent meetings.

They won't come to the Ferry anyway, they'll have learnt what happened when Brentford tried it on in the Workies

Not at all Rayns, you've been watching these games as long as I have, and you know that now they've been given an inch, there will be some looking to take a mile. And as someone said, after the game there is no restrictions on them if they've travelled independently. Yes they'll be kept in, but a few hundred of em looking to get back to cars/mini buses will mean it will go off. Anyone thinking any different is deluded and has a short memory.

Roles reversed if we had meeting point at say Leckwith you think a high % of Swans fans wouldn’t stop off in PT, Neath ,Bridgend, Llantristant & there wouldn’t be carnage with Basseys prior to making our way to a ticket exchange?

I don’t believe for 1 minute SW police would allow this to happen. I reckon Bristol City will be a bubble this year as well

Yes i absolutely believe there would be Swans fans that would stop off at whatever location on the way to Leckwith, if we were allowed to travel there under our own steam. If you think we wouldn't then it's you that's being naive.

Of course the police would try to prevent it, but they won't stop everyone, they never have been able to and never will be able to (other than bubble games).

I'd be shocked if Bristol isn't a bubble this year too.

All the ‘carnage’ supporters from both clubs should be rounded up, a number of helicopters carrying large cargo nets should then pick up said ‘carnage’ supporters and drop them on the top of Pen Y Fan.

The two Bristol sides were bubble matches for a while. One of the Bubble matches v Bristol City they only brought 420 to the Liberty.

Very proud to be voted Planet Swans Poster of the Year 2017 by my fellow posters. Especially on a site that nearly had 20 million impressions last year.

They will not be allowed into Swansea to cause chaos the main arteries will be watched. The railways will be watched with no Away supporters allowed to travel full stop and especially into Swansea.
