Looking forward to this one over here in Tennessee

Not a bad lineup that. A little surprised to see Def Leppard listed ahead of ZZ Top in Tennessee mind.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

Lynyrd Skynyrd over Slayer and Megadeth looked a bit odd to me. Anyway, that looks like a festival to avoid.

I am lucky that Tiggy is my friend.

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

The Cure?

Saw them in the Brangwyn Hall in about 1983. Only remember 3 things.

1. Nobody was allowed to get out of their seats to move to the front/dance etc.

2. Robert Smith was a pretentious, whiney, self-regarding poseur.

3. I left very early.

Regarding their headlining appearance at Glastonbury - it seems that any crap band/singer who've achieved some longevity will be rewarded with a Glasto headlining spot. Pathetic and predictable.

And yes, it is too expensive and exclusive - a ghastly, self-indulgent pile of ordure for dim, smarmy, spoilt kids from leafy suburbs.

If you've not seen Power Trip then I advise you make the effort. The most relevant modern band around imho. Their latest album contains riffs Slayer would be more than proud of.

Saw slayer in Cardiff on their farewell tour and the were excellent as usual. Going to miss them greatly.

Keane are playing the Acoustic stage late on Saturday. Well partial to a bit of Perfect Symmetry, Bedshaped or Spiralling in the raw, and I don't mean with my kit off.

Last artist I saw in the (then) acoustic tent was Roddy Frame from Aztec Camera. He was fab.

Thank you, goodnight and bollocks

I saw Aztec Camera a few times in the 80s, Eb. An old girlfriend used to like them. Frame is a very underrated player, he always had a beautiful array of Gretsch on stage behind him.

The ‘Love’ album was a hit in The US as well as Europe. It must have set him up nicely for life.

One for you, fella’...

You're getting me confused with Claisie. Watched Tom Odell earlier, he's pretty good. Saw him in 2013 in Dublin. Think he was opening for Billy Joelle or someone like that.

Anyway ECB, what did you lot think of Wembley last week ? Sound wasn't great forwhere we were, had an echo from back of stadium but I seem to be in the minority. Simon McCoy seemed to enjoy it in front of us judging by his Twitter. Liked the line "I ain't got nothing new for you, just the same old shit"

Get on the red button mun, its normally tidy on there.

Your neighbour was inadvertently on the BBC 6pm news earlier, they went to one of their roving reporters and he was behind him totally oblivious to it.

I thought it was excellent. Sound was fine where we were and it was nice to hear some songs he doesn’t trot out so often (Billy the kid was a particularly pleasant surprise). The only vague disappointment was no Miami 2017.

Poor opener, should have started with Miami, Angry Young Man or even My life. Thought Big Shot slowed it down on the encore as well. Was hoping for Summer Highland Falls as he's never going to play Captain Jack u less you're in Philly. Glad you enjoyed it so much, we were in a pub in Westminster 35 minutes after the last song, couldnt believe how empty the train was. The final notes of You may be right and we were gone.

We were the same, watched the last song from the top of the steps for a quick getaway.
