The defence don't trust him surely Potter must get rid.

Wonder if they'll get rid of both keepers and get a new one...just a thought.

Mulder's probably as cheap as they come in this division.

Lost his way when replaced by Nordfelt ...unless he started listening to the goal keeping coach.

That is my biggest concern, just who is coaching these keepers? And who is training the defence?

Not so easy to get rid who would take Nordfelt. How long does he have left on his contract. Mulder was ok before Potter started chopping and changing. But he is nothing great either.

Personally I'd gamble and rid of both. Build from the back. The team has to have confidence in the shot stopper.

Buggered though now Beakys gone. Loved a keeper did old beak. Who else in the premier league could have found a keeper in the Australian out back? Who else would have wanted too? 😂
| If you wake up breathing, thats a good start to your day and you'll make many thousands of people envious. |

Only Javier was really up to the job, IMO. Maybe he had better raw material at the right time. Goalkeeper coach (spot the difference) Garcia Arsenal PSG Sevilla Swansea Sevilla Tucker Swansea Sunderland England under 20s Swansea Tony Roberts was OK

Ok seasons over... on 04:56 - Apr 16 with 2691 views | Glyn1 | I was at the match but walked out after the 4th goal _ sorry, that was wrong of me. We conceded early and from then on Nordfelt was getting abuse from our own fans, he was probably happy to get to the away end where he wouldn't get any stick. Abuse him on this site, no problem with that, but not during the match - how does that help? Couple of fans chanting Nordfelt is a W.nk.r throughout the game in front of two kids, their mum and dad had a word with them but it didn't make any difference. [Post edited 16 Apr 2019 5:03]

I agree that we should try the under-23s in the side, especially the goalkeeper (don't think that either Nordfelt or Mulder is anything special). Hope to keep Potter - he's obviously made mistakes but is an obvious upgrade on Carvalho and Bradley. Should have kept Guidolin.

Regarding Harries, from what I have seen though in the under 23s he's been poor, not sure what the fuss is if I'm being honest. Potter stithced him up in the first team, it's unfair to judge him on his game time there, but I haven't any attributes from him that makes me believe he can make the grade at this level so far. But you've seen alot more than me, so happy to take your word for it, hoping you're right.

Should definitely have kept Guidolin - I keep saying it, his final three games in charge (Man C X 2 & Liverpool) were excellent performances against teams that were, at the tlme, considered to be playing incredible football. City - 6 straight wins (18 - 5 goals) Liverpool - 5W 1D 1L (22 - 10 goals) He was messed about with the squad before and after the Euro, the 4 -5 weeks of daily 'rumours' about him being sacked coming from the club and happily magnified by WoL & Radio Fails were the lowest this club had sunk for many, many years. Give Potter time and let Potter give us time and we will bounce back as strong as we've ever been.

The second half of last season was the best our u23s defence has ever looked imo. Benda in goal, Jack Evans anchoring the midfield, and Cian playing alongside a fresh-faced u18 defender every week. Joe out on loan not impressing much at Cheltenham. Been good for Wales u21s as well. He's a bit like McBurnie in that he doesn't quite fit the modern mould of a player in his position. Languid style, often cynical and dirty. Looks clumsy and agricultural and takes a while to settle into a rhythm. He's not a player that benefits from brief cameos or occasional appearances. But his passing range is better than any other defender we have on the books. The u23s have struggled this season in part due to not having anyone close to his capability in playing the ball out over 20-40 yards. Cooper, Cabango and Lewis try but they're not natural ball-players. Think Potter doesn't fancy him for his lack of athleticism and mobility, and that's unlikely to ever change.
