My lad is just getting over it. He was not well at all for a week or so, and lost nearly 10% of his body weight, because anything consumed “revisits” you one way or another within the hour. I’ve heard of a few people having the same thing in the last month or so.

Still a big part of British footballing culture for some mad reason.

The athletic/performance disadvantages are well-documented. But many players still seem to think a few pints midweek hasn't made a difference as it's out of their system by Saturday.

Same as smoking, which a lot still do.
