FA Cup v Barnet/Brentford boycott 09:32 - Feb 2 with 8260 viewslittleleon

In light of recent events, including this recent transfer window and last summers transfer window, and the fact that it is now blatantly obvious that the owners have lied to us fans and are not rebuilding the club, they’re just asset stripping us. I feel that ALL Swans fans should stick together and protest against this current regime.
Why don’t we all boycott the FA Cup game and meet outside the stadium for the duration of the match to peacefully(but loudly) protest. It could be like a picket line and hopefully nobody will cross it? An empty stadium for one match would make headlines! We need to stand up to them together, the financial implications of a boycott for this match wouldn’t be huge as there would normally be smaller numbers attending and at heavily discounted prices, but this idea I feel would raise the heat on them.
Let’s get this protest known and shared and hopefully it’ll build monentum?

Poll: If we can’t get a quality striker in January- would you sign Bony until summer?

Or the other way, fill the stadium and make it as hostile as posssible towards jenkins and the Yanks, just like the rushden game, all in front of the live BBC cameras.

THIS.

Otherwise it's "only" Brentford/Barnet so not surprised that very few have turned up.

I don't think a boycott is a good idea, next time they have a "sale" they'll say it was necessary because of poor attendances.

And what do you suggest we do?
Nothing?
Protest during a match - i.e. have a couple of hundred fans in one corner of the ground chanting “Jenkins out” or “get out of our club” AGAIN
Something needs to be done to get the yanks out!!

it would probably be a better idea to fill the west stand and hurl messages at the director's box all game (from your seat of course with no swearing)

Exxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxcellent Idea! Most excellent!

Jenkins, Morgan, Pearlman, Dineen, Van Zweden etc.... Being sat up in the West Stand whether it be in the directors box or in an executive box is too far far far away from East Stand anger.

It's a comfort zone!....A personnel-steward patrolled ring fenced exclusion zone with East Stand supporters having to cross two barriers of stewards on East Stand/West Stand perimeters to get anywhere near the West Stand and its nest-of-vipers.

Up close and personal protests in their greedy mush(es) is what they deserve..... And? It's oxygen of publicity for any protest movement also i.e. bearing in mind that's where the press/media happen to sit!!!!!

Boycotts have never worked. What we need is a campaign of terror! Car bombs, letter bombs, pipe bombs. Anything we can get our hands on initially, because as the word spreads, we will be contacted by other terrorist groups who are more established and will contact us via this site to offer us more sophisticated weapons, such as surface to air missiles, and air defence systems in case the yanks launch a counter attack, as they know the trust have the money in the bank. If the fvckers want a war let's give em one! Though it would be a good idea to call ourselves freedom fighters rather than terrorists as it looks better if any of us end up in the magistrates court on some sort of trumped up public order offence.

Note: If there are any terrorists reading this who are able to make an offer of weapons to our cause, please use the PM facility.

They aren’t in the business of appeasing fans. Next time they flog one of our better players below market value, it will be because that’s what they want to do.

Honestly don’t think fan action is going to make a lot of difference here. They’ll be out the minute they get a reasonable offer regardless.

There actually was a serious tone in that crazy post, as in that's what it would probably take in comparison to the Petty situation.
People are trying to rewrite history here, when quite simply he became a frightened man living in a one bedroom flat with his boyfriend in the Marina, then fled to a hotel in Cardiff to receive his pay off. Me thinks it will take a little bit more to scare this lot away!

Doesn’t matter. A very loud display of unrest infront of the cameras is probably the best idea so far. Get the message out.

They will be gone when the money runs out.The way I see it 27 people are involved in owning this club. and i was told there is an account in a certain bank. just to give money to these investors.
I am a bit concerned we might have a worse run towards the end of the season.
Based on my assumption that it was difficult for opposing teams to analyse swansea.
because potter kept changing the line ups.
He will find it more difficult to do that now.

IMO boycotting will hurt the hardest, some seem reluctant to do that so the next best alternative to boycotting and the only other serious available option is to create unwelcome negative publicity about SCFC's current predicament.

The West Stand is 'demonstration-central', that is where the press/media can sample some 'up-close-and-personal-protest' from the supporters. I've sat many times in the West Stand and the support experienced coming from the East Stand is nowhere near as profound when (in East Stand) being right amongst it.

East Stand vocal loyal should relocate and buy tickets for the West Stand side.

Every little bit that helps to dispel the JTAK bullsh1t is better than doing nothing at all.

This is nothing like the Petty situatio....he had paid £1 for the club not £68million......the club debt was then bought by Mel Nurse ,Petty only had more to gain than he than he had to lose..and Mel buying the debt gave him some leverage.......this time the buyers have 68million more reasons not to walk away.
