Birthday announcements 14:26 - Jan 17 with 1762 views | builthjack | The tight f@@kers are now charging £5 for every matchday birthday announcement. They are getting further and further away from the fans.
| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

If the cash goes to a registered charity I have no problem with ott charging. If the cash is going to the 27 and the sellouts then different.
| If you wake up breathing, thats a good start to your day and you'll make many thousands of people envious. |

Birthday announcements on 20:55 - Jan 17 with 1251 views | QJumpingJack | We need the facts: How long have the club been charging this? Is it an "admin fee"? Does the payment go towards a charity? Which other clubs charge for this and how much? Are the Trust aware of this charge? If not, they need to investigate and ask questions/demand answers tomorrow. If the club cannot defend the charge then it will be in the press quite quickly just like the mascot story. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

I was told this by a pal of mine who wanted a birthday request for his little girl. They are season ticket holders and travel from Llanidloes to games. He complained last week about it, and yesterday had an email back saying that they will donate the fivers to The Swansea City Community Trust. Not sure if this was the case previously! So whoever runs that charity, make sure you get your money.

Birthday announcements on 18:36 - Jan 18 with 659 views | JulieF | I definitely paid £5 to the Swans Community Trust to have my nephew's 6th birthday announced back in May 2016. It was no extra charge to email them a photo to display on screen when the announcement was made, so I did that too. I was initially surprised at the charge, which seemed a bit petty (especially since I 'd already paid for 5 STs, 5 JAs, and 2 Cygnets club memberships that year). But my nephew was thrilled to hear his name over the speakers and especially thrilled to see his picture on the big screen, so in fact it was £5 well spent!
