The option to buy the information from them would plainly cost more than a tenner, but the principle of equal disclosure in litigation cases is the same, and not prejudiced by either parties ability to ‘buy it’.
The Yanks however are ignoring the basic and set principles of the mediation process.

I suspect the new/ex owners are waiting to see the what the outcome of the Trust’s discussions with its members are before making their next move because the members could, in theory vote to do nothing which would require them to do even less! I suspect the only time there will be movement is if the Trust initiatives proceedings, or IF the club happens to be promoted back to the PL at the end of this season. If the latter occurs, then it’s highly possible the shares will be worth more than the price K and L paid for them, so if they could buy the Trust shares out at the same rate they paid Jenkins et al, they would have a larger shareholding in a company potentially worth more because of increased TV revenue, long term lease on ground, sponsorship etc. | | | |
