Honestly I was expecting us to lose these two games. City was terrible, this was much better. We were slow and ponderous in attack until Dyer came on and I don't think Routledge was the right call but I don't think there's any shame in a 1-0 defeat.
We HAVE to make it count now though. A draw against Bournemouth is the minimum and we've got to win our two homes games. |  | | |

Well there was decent effort in the second half, but for all our huff and puff we never really troubled Courtois. The nearest we came was the decent penalty shout when Dyer was kicked, which I think should have been given. It is going to come down to which of the five worst teams have the balls to get the necessary points and I'm not convinced it is us. The squad just doesn't have the quality. | | | |

I'm getting off before the hysteria ramps up. A point would have been nice but wouldn't have changed much. We still have GD over Hudds. We still have to play Soton.
Even if we lose next week and Soton win, we still have to play Soton. They have better gd, so we have to beat them anyway. In fact us both staying up is entirely possible. Hudds are in the mix for sure.

There's a lot in that. If we had played for 90 mins as we did in the second half we might have got something. I do NOT want to see 5 at the back in our remaining games. We may as well have 10 at the back - it just renders the whole team impotent in attack. We're still outside the relegation zone and our fate is in our hands.
