Fixtures on 10:06 - Feb 4 with 3131 views | SteTsGoldenBoot | Massive games, as is Tuesday night. If, and I know its a big if, we can beat Millwall, will some of the games against the mid table clubs be entering 'the players are on the beach' territory? Lets home so. Even the Wigan games being pushed back as far as possible may make it a meaningless game for them. Hopefully this will be a re-enactment of the 4-2 win at Preston in the last great escape we had! Clutching at straws maybe, but we at least have one or two straws to clutch to after yesterdays results.

Fixtures on 10:58 - Feb 4 with 3026 views | southealingdale | Win the next game against Fleetwood and that pulls them nearer. Their form is not good currently. 52 points is the target to stay up. Might get away with less. That is 27 points from 19 games. 9 wins from 19 games. [Post edited 4 Feb 2018 11:01]

Fixtures on 11:00 - Feb 4 with 3011 views | ColDale | Its a very odd looking league table. I've hardly looked at it recently, but was astonished to see Plymouth and Gillngham sitting in 11th and 12th. At times this season, they have looked dead and buried, and even Southend a couple of weeks after sacking Phil Brown are looking almost comfortably mid table. I think we'll see a team dropping like a stone in the next few weeks - someone like a Walsall who finished the transfer window without any major worries or changes, and are possibly already starting to see out the season. Yesterday puts us in a position now where we're needing 26 points from 19 games, which is certainly achievable. Obviously difficult and the sheer number of games will hurt us, but one small decent run of games could see us get it down to a point per game.

I'd agree with 52. To coin an old message board phrase from the days we were looking to avoid the non-league. It's 27 runs from 19 deliveries

I very much doubt the Wigan game will be meaningless for them. They might have clinched promotion by then, but they may still need to secure the title. And just remember Burnley 1991/92...
