Dave Sutton is manager of Burscough. Allegedly he has some involvement in a property development with Burscough's chairman at Skelmersdale's ground which has led to the latter being chucked out of their ground recently.

This also mentioned that he had once said non-league teams should not be allowed in the FA cup. Does anyone remember this as I don't?

When i was a kid and played footie - everyone wanted t be Ryan Giggs, Cantona or collymore - Me i was always Steve Whitehall!

I also never realised Dave Sutton was the most liked or respected. When i was 8 he invited myself & my mother to Dale (we lived in notts) to come to the game & was such a top bloke, really took care of us & me as an 8 year i was blown away. I think my parents house still have the photo of my and Dave up on my old bedroom, incredible!
