British lions on 15:04 - Jul 1 with 4570 views | isitme | Great win in the end. The sending off helped, as did the rain. The giving away of needless penalties didn't. Two well worked tries. Roll on next week's game.

not taking anything away from the win but its unlikely they will play most of next weeks game against 14 men. They will need to be ready for an all black onslaught from the kick off next week in their spritual home. of auckland. Should be a cracker...go lions. Made me feel old when they said its 50 uyears since an all black was sent off. I remember watching that game on BBC. Colin Meads built like a brick water closet.

its from the coat of arms...hence three lions on the shirt. But to be politically correct.......its the british and irish lions so what have lions to do with Ireland?
British lions on 15:49 - Jul 1 with 4525 views | D_Alien | Just watching the game replayed on Sky, a win is a win and the amount of carping comments (in the media in general) is ridiculous, some people just don't know how to win Whatever happens next week - and my money'd be on the All Blacks - the Lions have given the thousands of touring fans summat to cheer about [Post edited 1 Jul 2017 16:28]

thoroughly enthralling game even if not the greatest quality. Thought our discipline had blown it when they went 9 points ahead but credit where it is due, a great win. I went to the 1st Lions game in NZ the last time around and this team is so much more competitive. All blacks still favourites next week and I expect them to come out flying, , but if we keep it close for the first 20 minutes then game on

The same place lions I guess. Why is there lions on the coat of arms? They belong to Africa. Aussies are called the Wallabies-NZ- the Kiwis-South Africa the Springboks. All authentic creatures from their respective countries.

I went skiing at mount Hutt the following week and it felt like Barbados in comparison - I was freezing that night. Other than the atmosphere from the Lions fans it was as miserable a night as I have been to to watch sport ( Weather + performance).
