Paying £90 a month for landline, Broadbank and XL TV package with 2 TiVo boxes.
The TiVo boxes are really slow reacting to commands.
Quite often it says that on demand and catch up are experiencing difficulties etc
The 100 MB broadband rarely outputs over 40 MB and is constantly dropping out all the time.
I'm currently using my iPad via data SIM card because I can't connect to the internet . Grrr
What's out there chaps?
I want a broadband, landline, mobile, basic TV package. I can use my fire stick with Jodi to get the rest of it.
What shall I go for? BaT infinity or a SKY dish or something else...

Until you change, phone Virgin Technical and explain about your internet dropping off.
I had that problem about 3 weeks ago. Phoned up during half time after the service dropped umpteen times, a lovely Scottish lady sorted it and had no problem since.
Also whatever service you use best to use Ethernet and boosters that fit in the electrical plug whenever possible.
I find everything I want on Kodi, especially using StreamTVBox.

EE are excellent - I pay 18 months line rental up front £299 (£16.61) and £11.50 per month, total of £28.11 per month on an 18 month contract.
For this I get:
Fibre BB at 38mb/s
Landline free calls 24/7 to 01, 02 & 03 numbers
Unlimited calls to 30 countries, and US mobile phone
1000 minutes per month to mobile numbers
Data boost on any EE contracts - went from 500mb to 1GB

Just come off the phone to Virgin and have got a better deal all round but upgrading at the same time.
Tariff has gone from £93 a month to £66.
1: Broadband upgraded from 100mbps to vivid 200mbps (self install new hub)
2: 2x TiVo500s out and one V6 tivo box in (self install)
3: downgraded TV package from Full house to mix package (wasn't watching half of the channels)
4: Landline phone stays the same as unlimited days/nights/weekend + international calls
Result! |
Landline should also offer 24/7 calls to mobiles included.
Check with them but believe it is the standard now | |
