With Kyle Naughton struggling massively surely its worth giving someone like Tyler a go young raw fresh and cant be any worse than what we have? worked with Ben Davies.

Either that or play Rangel.

Naughton looks so how far out of his depth it's scary.

Well I would never throw him in next Sunday in what is one of our biggest games ever myself.

He must have faults that need ironing out for him not to be near the first time. I think most of us presume he is good because he has come from united and build like a rugby player.

Exactly every game and every point is crucial. Not the time to experiment.

Experience is going to count in the run in.

If / when we are out of trouble then yes. But definitely not until then.

Lesser of 2 evils.

I know little about Tyler Reid but what I do know is he hasn't played at PL level and is unlikely to handle the pressure of a relegation battle.

I've been calling for Reid to step up for a couple of months now. Would love to see it. I'd have Rangel in against Leicester though.

It's a hell of an ask to bring an under-23 player into a relegation battle. McBurnie looks a world beater at that level, but has made very little impact in his league cameos. Not a criticism, it's just a much higher level.

Ben Davies was ready for league football and was already on the bench when Taylor got injured. If any of our under-23s were as good as Ben Davies was at the time, they would be in our first team squad.

Ive asked my mate about TR a few times. He watches them 23/21's all the time and repeatedly states the lads not good enough, and no where near the first team....

If not Tyler Reid then Connor Roberts. They surely can't be any worse than Naughton.

Amat has far more chance of making it as a RB than as a CB. I agree with you. I don't know why we haven't tried this in recent times as he's definitely playde there for us years ago.

Not quick with or without the ball, not much of a passer, can't cross and you want him at fullback?

Those two(?) games he had to fill in at leftback for us were disastrous (not his fault of course).

He's our quickest CB FFS!! You may not rate him or want to play him there but at least get your facts straight. He's a good passer and got good feet.

His issues are his lack of strength, reading of the game and rashness.
