Instead, it is 6 points to 13th with an easy run of games this month.
I know fan forums are supposed to be the most extreme pessimists that exist but really, get a grip!
It's almost like everyone forgot: 3 minutes from winning at Everton, controlling the match against Palace and still having the spirit to come back and win.
You know how when an unfancied boxer beats the Champ and commentary goes "Only him, his trainers, and his family believed he'd win today, and I'm not sure about his family", well I'm almost sure some of you want the team to fail, if only to justify all of the moaning.

Some people, no names mentioned, have always been negative about us, even during our promotion season from the championship.

There's no doubt we've had a difficult run of games. But if anyone think we have an easy/easier run over the next six games then let me give you an easier run of games.
Burnley 0-1 Swansea City
Swansea City 0-2 Hull City
Leicester City 2-1 Swansea City
Swansea City 0-0 Watford
Stoke City 3-1 Swansea City
Swansea City 5-4 Crystal Palace
7pts we got from that, and i'd say it's an easier set of six than the six we have in front of us. Yet if we match that and only pick up 7pts from our next 6 games then we can kiss the Premier league goodbye!

We won 2 of those and drew one. Lost at the champions, at Stoke and okay against Hull at home.

Of course i'm not going to pick out a 2-2 against Chelsea as that wasn't classed as an 'easier' fixture! I'm simply comparing like for like. Yes we lost at Stoke now 9th (17th at the time) and the 'Champions' (lol) now 16th, HULL AT HOME!!! under normal circumstances, a freak result, but now? Nah! We have a similar run of fixtures to the ones i've picked out NQAT, and if we do not win on Saturday, then we are done for, and that's without picking up at least another 6/7 points from the next 5,. |  |

I laughed out loud when I read "...only 6 points off 13th place".
Sounds like a fairly trivial task until you put it into perspective - it has taken us the last 13 games to amass 6 points! So we should hit 13th place sometime in early March at that rate (as long as everybody else stands still!) |  | | |
