Mr Bradley, please earn the right to judge others or to puff yourself up . . . 01:24 - Oct 14 with 7494 viewsDavillin

Mr Bradley, please earn the right to judge people related to Swansea City Football Club or to your past endeavors, and to puff yourself up

You earn it not at press conferences, but on the pitch. I, for one, would prefer to see you demonstrate your management superiority on the pitch, and not read about it every day -- especially before a ball has been kicked under your management.

I found your negative remarks about Francesco Guidolin and Jurgen Klinsmann distasteful at best, and most decidedly better left unsaid forever..

How about a maximum of one bigging-up [if deserved] at one post-game press conference per game?

I don't care. I'm old. I don't have to.

And it's not a good enough explanation on how poor our second half fitness was.
You've got to be fitter than that full stop, sorry I mean period.

I wouldn't bother Darran. The agenda on this thread is pretty clear.

You'd need to be just as fit to keep the ball as you would without it. The point you're trying to makes is um well pointless.

Put two cones twenty yards apart. Kick a football from one to another. Then run from one another. Repeat for 90 minutes. Let me know which one tires you out the most

I have many reservations about Bob, one thing I don't doubt is that he will get the players fitter.

I don't get it at all my friend the previous manager is now gone and everyone should throw their weight behind the new manager.

For all Bobs impressive talk off the field it means nothing when our players take to the field tomorrow.

Narrow minded. Unable to see past their own thoughts or have the capacity to understand that other peoples views maybe different to theirs and often correct.

Half the time it's a point scoring exercise to make them feel superior to others.

Its a phenomenon of the internet.

Supporters want the best for their club Darran. That doesn't mean blindly agreeing with everything they do.

100% hope Bob succeeds. 100% backing at games. Doesn't mean I think it's a good appointment though.

Football isn't. Answering the question about why teams in possession conserve energy better is.

I didn't say they were unfit, I said I thought Bob would get them fitter. I do get the impression that Guidolin may have spent too long working on tactics and neglected fitness though.

He wasn't the perfect manager and as you say, he is gone now and that's that. If Bob is as good tactically, I'm sure he will be a success as he is bound to get them fitter. How good he is tactically is my concern, not his ability to send them on long runs up hills

When do you stand in one place kicking a ball during the game?

And to add to this - properly planned fitness that is specific to football is key. If this tw*t starts with his boot camp approach then we are f*cked, as we won't have any layers left

Jesus Murph.

I wasn't accusing you of not answering the question. You asked the question.

I was explaining that the reason teams in possession don't tire as quickly really is as simple as running twenty yards, kicking a ball twenty yards and seeing which one tires you out the most.

You don't. You pass it and jog into position to receive the next pass. You don't exert anywhere near as much energy doing that as when you are chasing passes down. You already know that, Murph doesn't

I didn't ask a question.

I simply stated that players need to be as fit with the ball as they do without it.

So you think that you can pass the ball and jog in to a position to be able to create space to receive it back or take an opposition player with you to create space for other members of the team to receive the ball?

How much energy do you think being mentally agile takes up? If you don't players with the quickness of mind you wont be successful at keeping possession.

Have you ever seen a Barcelona player jog in to position?

I don't think you can dispute that you use more energy chasing the ball all over the pitch than you do by retaining possession with well placed passes - as we used to do.
