I rarely disagree my learned friend Tony too but I think BB has every right to talk about fitness looking at the f*cking state on some of our players in the Liverpool game.

We weren't fcked immediately after half time. Liverpool went up a couple of gears and made us chase shadows. That killed us off physically on top of pressing hard in he first half. They were able to do that simply because they have a bigger budget, better players and presumably didn't balls the last few transfer windows up monumentally.

Making the other team do the work (i.e. Chasing the ball) tires them out. We used to be very good at it. It doesn't guarantee you win games, but it increases the likelihood.
That Burnley Liverpool scenario doesn't happen very often and I doubt they didn't create many chances.
