They can't just 'take it' though. Unless they follow the example of our old 'fanboys' and pay themselves as an employee, or maybe the riddle gambit of 'consultancy fees'...now there's a thought.
Only other ways are loan interest (which means they'd have to loan us money) or dividends (where they only get 40%).
Buy/expand, increase assets, wait for new TV contract, sell all or part to Chinese, capital gain seems most likely route.
Watch this space I guess. As I said elsewhere don't just look at transfer fees in and out. We've paid up a few contracts (and Eder for example will get a golden goodbye because he didn't ask for a transfer), agents fees, combo for Monk and the boys and from memory a big net current asset deficit might well have eaten up a big slice of pie. I don't like the f*ckers on principle mind you. I'm just waiting for the Trust to give a steer. |  |

That Bartley one has to be in the hope that some unsuspecting championship club pays some, like, actual money for him rather than him walking doesn't it? Otherwise it makes no sense.
