Our club as we know it has gone and its depressed me deeply. I fear greatly for our future

Innit. My gut feelings from 6 weeks agpo still hold for me - can't understand why some posters chose to mock them -

There has been a quite deafening silence on this today from all parties. You'd have imagined there would be a fairly swift denial if sky reports were fabricated to such an extent?

There's been an uneasy silence throughout the whole debacle in fairness, shocking when we are described as a club run by fans for the fans, once upon a time it was or was it? when you weigh it all up, I keep expecting to see a Trust Statement, but it's probably a tad early for that in fairness, but Jenkins and his bessie mates should be saying somin surely.

Its the silence that is creating the worry, it may all turnout tickety boo, but the signs aren't looking good, very worrying.

There's clearly something being leaked out: maybe Sky have filled in some blanks in the info they were given with their own speculation. So whilst their story may not be entirely accurate it isn't entirely wrong either.

Well the trust are obviously quiet because they're busy perusing the documents init, being as this is the first time they became aware of the deal and all.

He did indeed - he also said the 'last' newspaper report was incorrect.

As I said, sky reported yesterday that the takeover was agreed. If that is incorrect, I am surprised that there has not been a denial - I know that if a company is reported as sold and it's not true, it is usual for the company to say so. They haven't.

Silence is deafening.

Might be something to do with the werewolves.

Not really deafening at all. I'm quite clearly hearing that Levien and co can say what they want, as the 'sellers' are nothing more than putty in their hands terrified of saying anything that might jeopardise their golden windfall. They care nothing of what is true or not true. "Just show us the money!"

If I had a guaranteed 50 year lease on it and also earned extra income that I could keep for the remainder of that term, yes I would.

That really does depend on how much the extension cost. If it were 10K and you were getting extra income of 1K for fifty years maybe but if the extension was going to cost 15 million and you had no idea if you were even going to get extra income in 12 months then no.

But it’s the same if you owned the stadium, or rented.

No it is not. When you own the stadium it is listed as an asset but if you are a tenant then it is not your asset.

As said yesterday there have been no further details given to us of any sale or even a proposed updated breakdown of who is selling what

And certainly no sniff of a shareholders agreement or contact from the buyers lawyers - suspect that while there is verbal agreement from the sellers we are yet to see this agreed by all their lawyers

This seeming lack of transparency and care doesn't really auger well on the surface does it?

Well I would have thought if its all in the hands of the legal eagles at the moment then absolutely nothing is going to be said by either party until its all done and dusted and the new shareholders have been approved by the relevant authorities.

Wether or not they have a legal obligation to get the Trusts approval or views on the matter as a major shareholder, I really have no idea.

I would very much hope that is the case.

Not if this £50 million "investment" is really just a loan secured against the club with interest its not.

I hope I m wrong but it could be a win win situation for our American friends.

Still as long as they are ok at the top then it does nt really matter does it?
