Probably an away day that will never be beaten.

Lucky enough to be behind that goal and followed LJ's shot bend into the top corner

Went pretty mental on that terrace to be fair !!

Fittingly the third goal - Curtis - James - Charles.

Our fresh faced 4th division frontline !

I was there and as a thirteen year old at his first away game it was a tad overwhelming to say the least. Amazing, Shanks got it right in the summing up.

This one was right up there with the best days of supporting the Swans.

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

day never to be forgotten how they got us all in behind that goal i will never now, never forget the noise when the two football specials pulled into preston station and about 19 double decker buses taking us up to the ground to be met with a sea of black and white, they were proper away days with memories to tell the grand kids as they will never experience away days like it.

My Brother saved up his paper money to buy an air horn for that match and as we were about to go through the turnstiles they took it off him.

The security guys said that we could pick it up on our way out, but as we guessed it was never to be seen again.

We'll never forget that day and we still talk about it often.

I enjoyed the journey to the ground on the double decker buses (let's get them back).

but the run up to the preston trip was awesome bristol rovers away at eastville terraces so steep cardiff and luton on the monday night at the vetch ,all who have followed the swans in the era could never have dreampt what has happen in the last 35 yrs, i know football and stadiums have moved on but those past memories and away trips will never be forgotten.

In any stadium in the modern game, it would be unlawful to squeeze so many bodies in a stand as we experienced that day.
If your shoe fell off during the celebrations, there was no way you could replace...or find it.

I twisted and sprained an ankle when Charlo scored, it was my personal trophy to take home.

A very precious memory of watching a wonderful team...my team.

Most of that team made it to The Brangwyn Hall for the 25th reunion, which was a great night reliving the promotion game and the great season that followed.

Going back to the Kop like squeezing in to that terrace, for a 13 year old it was scary at times. It was so rammed it wad difficult to jump up and down when we scored.
