Moslems really are the grumpiest people on earth..... on 00:46 - Feb 17 by LeonisGod

I suggest a bit of balance in your fervour. The numbers of muslims killed in sectarian violence just in Gujurat alone is considerably greater than the sum total in your little wiki list of terror incidents. I'm obviously no fan of religious fanaticism, but have travelled and worked in enough countries to realise this thread is choc full of overly simplistic stereotyping

It's about context though isn't it.

The Muslims committed the largest genocide in human history in India.
The Sikhs fought back (800 or so years after the invasion of Islamic hordes).
The British then came in the form of the East India Company and behaved despicably.
When the British left the North of India is partitioned in order to avoid yet another bloodbath between the religions.
In effect Islam is separated from the other religions.

Then this;
"Accession of Kashmir[edit]

The partition of British India and the independence of the new dominions of India and Pakistan was the result of the Indian Independence Act 1947. Article 2 (4) of the Act provided for the termination of British paramountcy over the princely states with effect from 15 August 1947, and recognised the right of the states to choose whether to accede to India or to Pakistan or to remain outside them.[20] Before and after the withdrawal of the British from India, the ruler of the princely state of Kashmir and Jammu came under pressure from both India and Pakistan to agree to accede to one of the newly independent countries. Maharaja of Kashmir, Hari Singh, decided to avoid accession to either country. Following a Muslim revolution in the Poonch and Mirpur area[16] and an allegedly Pakistani backed[17]:18 Pashtun tribal intervention from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa aimed at supporting the revolution,[21][22] the Maharaja asked for Indian military assistance. India set the condition that Kashmir must accede to India for it to receive assistance. The Maharaja complied, and the Government of India recognised the accession of the princely state to India. Indian troops were sent to the state to defend it. The Jammu & Kashmir National Conference volunteers aided the Indian Army in its campaign to drive out the Pathan invaders.[23]

Pakistan refused to recognise the accession of Kashmir to India, claiming that it was obtained by "fraud and violence."[24] Governor General Mohammad Ali Jinnah ordered its Army Chief General Douglas Gracey to move Pakistani troops to Kashmir at once. However, the Indian and Pakistani forces were still under a joint command, and Field Marshal Auchinleck prevailed upon him to withdraw the order. With its accession to India, Kashmir became legally Indian territory, and the British officers could not a play any role in an inter-Dominion war.[25][26] The Pakistan army made available arms, ammuniton and supplies to the rebel forces who were dubbed the `Azad Army'. Pakistani army officers `conveniently' on leave and the former officers of the Indian National Army were recruited to command the forces. In May 1948, the Pakistani army officially entered the conflict, in theory to defend the Pakistan borders, but it made plans to push towards Jammu and cut the lines of communications of the Indian forces in the Mehndar Valley.[27] In Gilgit, the force of Gilgit Scouts under the command of a British officer Major William Brown mutinied and overthrew the governor Ghansara Singh. Brown prevailed on the forces to declare accession to Pakistan.[28][29] They are also believed to have received assistance from the Chitral Scouts of the state of Chitral, one of the princely states of Pakistan, which had acceded to Pakistan on 6 October 1947.[30]"

The start of the first Pakistan-India conflict, see the outcome here; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indo-Pakistani_War_of_1947

Then in the 60s this; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indo-Pakistani_War_of_1965

Q. Who is starting these conflicts?
Q. If the Germans (for example) had killed millions of us over centuries humiliating us in every way possible, we finally gained independence but they still had Scotland and were repeatedly starting wars to steal Cumbria as well....how would we feel about the Germans? What if the Germans had named part of their stolen Scotland Celtic Slaughter or British Slaughter?
How would we feel about them?

Is it any wonder the Indians got their hands on nuclear weapons asap?
Is it any surprise that when the Indian army run anti-terror drills the enemy they practice for is a Muslim enemy?

So don't give me that old pony about the Muslims rubbing along just fine with the Indians.
It isn't true.

Most Muslims. In Europe,India and Pakistan celebrate ValentinesnDaymaccording to this...

It's just a small group of extremist mutters that have the problem with it.

"However, celebrating Valentine's Day, named after the Christian patron saint of lovers, has become increasingly popular in both India and Pakistan.

Many hotels in both nations put on Valentine's dinners and balls, while the media allow lovers radio and newspaper slots to broadcast messages.

One card stockist in Bombay said couples would celebrate the day despite the protests.

"It is just sad for poor shop owners who are the unlucky targets," he said.

Lucknow student Latika Arora went further.

"No one has the right to work as the morals police," she said.

"We should be able to celebrate Valentine's Day as we wish."

Rochdale child sex gang ringleader appeals against deportation

The ringleader of a Rochdale child sex grooming gang cited human rights laws as he launched an appeal against deportation from Britain.

Shabir Ahmed, 63 — described by a judge as a “violent hypocritical bully” — has written to the European court of human rights (ECHR) claiming his convictions for child sex offences were a conspiracy to “scapegoat” Muslims.

Ahmed, serving 22 years in jail, was convicted in 2012 of being the ringleader of a group of Asian men who preyed on girls as young as 13 in Rochdale, Greater Manchester.

The girls were plied with drink and drugs before they were “passed around” for sex.

He appeared before an immigration tribunal, sitting at Manchester crown court, on Tuesday to appeal against the decision by home secretary Theresa May to strip him of his British citizenship, the first stage in the deportation process.

Three judges will decide on Ahmed’s appeal, as well as on appeals by three other men who were part of the same gang and who also face deportation.

Ahmed told the court: “She [Theresa May] says all her trouble is coming from Muslims, yet she’s the biggest trouble causer in the world.”

He said he was convicted by “11 white jurors”, adding: “It’s become fashionable to blame everything on Muslims these days.”

Vinesh Mandalia, representing the Home Office, told the tribunal May had exercised her right as home secretary to deprive Ahmed of British citizenship “if it is conducive to public good”.

Mandalia said Ahmed’s appeal against the deprivation of his British citizenship included an appeal to the ECHR against his criminal convictions.

This second appeal had been acknowledged by the ECHR, but that did not mean the court would hear his case.

“He explains simply on human rights grounds the conviction is unsafe on the basis it was a conspiracy by everyone involved,” Mandalia said.

Ahmed’s appeal states his trial was tainted and a miscarriage of justice as it was “institutionally racist” and made Muslims into “scapegoats”.

Mandalia said: “The public interest weighs heavily in favour of the secretary of state, to ensure those granted the benefits of British citizenship, however that comes to arise, know the responsibilities that go with it.

“And if you get involved in very serious organised crime, then one of the consequences of that is that they will be deprived of their British citizenship.”

He said Ahmed, who first came to Britain in 1967 when aged 14, is a British citizen. But he would not be rendered stateless as he retains Pakistani nationality.

Three-times married Ahmed told the court he had four children living in the UK, had lived here for nearly 50 years and had £83,000 in a UK bank account.

Ahmed was given a 19-year sentence at Liverpool crown court in May 2012 for a string of child sex offences, including rape.

He was also jailed for 22 years, to run concurrently, in July 2012 for 30 rape offences against another victim.

Tribunal judge Michael Clements reserved his decision on Ahmed and the appeal of a second man, Qari Abdul Rauf.

Taxi driver Rauf, 47, was released on licence last year after serving half of a six-year sentence for trafficking a girl, aged 15, in the UK for sex, and for having sex with her himself.

A tearful Rauf, who also acted as a religious studies teacher at a mosque in Rochdale,
asked through an Urdu interpreter for the tribunal to show him “mercy” and said he “wanted a second chance”.

Two more men convicted of child sex offences in the Rochdale case, Abdul Aziz and Adil Khan, are set to have their appeals heard in Manchester on Wednesday.

President urges people not to observe Valentine’s Day

ISLAMABAD: President Mamnoon Hussain on Friday urged people of the country not to observe Valentine’s Day, saying that it was not a part of Muslim tradition, but of the West.

Addressing a function held here to pay homage to Pakistan Movement leader Sardar Abdur Rab Nishtar on his death anniversary, the president said: “Valentine’s Day has no connection with our culture and it should be avoided.”

He said drawbacks of western culture had adversely affected one of our neighbouring countries.

Talking about the education system in the country, the president said there was a need to formulate educational curriculum of Pakistan according to the requirements of the modern age and ideology of Pakistan. “Work in this regard is under way and soon new curriculum with consensus of all stakeholders would be implemented,” he said.

He said Pakistan could achieve progress by adopting thoughts and philosophy of our great leaders and could earn a distinguished status in the comity of nations as dreamt by our founding fathers.

“We could not derive full advantage of our strategic geographical location in the past but now the government is endeavouring to take Pakistan to newer heights of prosperity through the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor and development of Gwadar port,” he said.

Paying tribute to national heroes, the president said Pakistan came into being because of struggle waged by Sardar Nishtar and others under the leadership of the Quaid-i-Azam. “We need to emulate the principles and self-belief of our founding fathers to make Pakistan strong and prosperous country,” he said.

The president said Sardar Nishtar was blessed with many qualities which were instrumental in enabling the nation to overcome many challenges after the creation of the country, adding that his conducts were exemplary during those testing times.

He said Sardar Nishtar was the only ray of hope during political instability in the country in the 50s and 60s. He enjoyed the trust of Mader-i-Millat Mohtarma Fatima Jinnah who entrusted him with the leadership of the party.

He said Sardar Nishtar never took advantage of his official position and led a dignified and simple life as governor of Punjab. “He never utilised official resources for his sake or for his children as he believed in judicious and meaningful use of national resources,” he added.

Mr Hussain said after assuming the office of the president he had decided that ceremonies would be organised at the Aiwan-i-Sadr to nourish the ideology of Pakistan and strengthen national identity. “Today’s ceremony is part of this process to pay homage to national heroes,” he added.

The president asked students to attain higher education in their respective fields and go abroad if there was need of it but always maintain their religious and national identity.

I have no idea what you're on about, I really don't. As I said (and clarified) I was referring to Moslems in India, not Pakistan. When you say Islam is separated from other religions in India it simply shows a lack of knowledge. There are over 180m Moslems living in India (about the same number as in Pakistan) and they live happily with everyone else all over the country.

There is a growing problem in India with Hindu fundamentalism not helped by BJP and Narendra Modi - the ordinary Hindus themselves are concerned about it as they believe that it will stir up the same problems as they see elsewhere and they are all happy to remain mixed together as they are at the moment. There have been shocking attacks in India on both Christians and mainly Moslems since Modi's election - as it doesn't quite fit with the prevailing Western narrative, it goes largely unreported in the West.

I was most recently in India at Christmas just gone, and without exception, Hindus and Moslems alike wished us a Merry Christmas, hung decorations and signs up, and the local villagers (again both religions) even made mince pies for us. The children were all excited about Christmas and everyone had a day's holiday.

The reality of life is often hidden and distorted by isolated incidents that the press report, or are picked up by websites with dangerous agendas. People see what they want to see, but the vast, vast majority of people live together very happily.

Yes and that case is utterly horrific and the men involved should be imprisoned for ever and deported if they are not British. It doesn't prove anything at all to support your argument other than some people are monsters.

Yes.

There are of course powers under both the British Nationality Act and the Immigration Act for people to have their citizenship revoked. I have absolutely no problem with the Secretary of State exercising her powers to do that if it is for the public good and I don't personally care in the slightest if that renders them stateless as allowed under the 2014 act, but for as long as someone remains a British citizen then they are British.

What other definition could possibly be used?

I was just wondering as you said in your previous post "if they're British" and in the report posted it referred to them a "British Citizens "

I didn't know what the difference was, so I asked.

I was just wondering as you said in your previous post "if they're British" and in the report posted it referred to them a "British Citizens "

I didn't know what the difference was, so I asked.

I didn't know whether they all were or not hence the 'if they are'.

Yes.
It is because Valentine's day is a Pagan festival that pre dates Islam and was adopted by Christianity therefore it cannot be considered Islamic.
Therefore it can not be tolerated.
Anything that is un-Islamic can not be tolerated by Islam.

If this country were to ever see the Islamic population grow and dominate British life they would not tolerate any of our festivals and traditions. Also the other religions would not be tolerated.
Which is ironic as they and their sympathizers demand that we tolerate them.

The only answer to Islam (if you wish to preserve your culture and way of life) is to not tolerate it, discourage it, weaken it.

If there's one thing I simply can't tolerate, it's intolerance.

Who was behind the Mumbai bombings seeing as the Muslems there are so well behaved?

The orthodox are always orthodox, regardless of the orthodoxy.

I take what you say about India from your first hand experience....but the fact remains there only is a Pakistan because of the Islamic invasion and mass genocide in India.

The 2 states are mortal enemies because India has learned it's lesson about Islam the hard way. - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2001%E2%80%9302_India%E2%80%93Pakistan_standoff

Hindus are 80% of the Indian population, Muslims are 14%.

From Wiki;
"In the last 60 years after the Indian independence and partition, the Muslims in India have preferential treatment with their own Muslim Personal Law. Communal tensions between the Hindus and the Muslims have erupted many a times during this period. Notable incidents of this phenomenon include the demolition of the Babri Masjid (believed to have been built on the sacred site of a demolished temple marking the birthplace of Lord Rāma) and the Gujarat Riots of 2002. The Gujarat violence of 2002 is significant for recording the highest annual death toll in any event of Hindu-Muslim violence in a single state in the history of independent India: 790 Muslims and 254 Hindus were killed[111] following the murder of 59 innocent Hindu passengers allegedly by Muslim youths on a train near Godhra on 27 February. The incident that spurred the violence was when the Sabarmati Express train was attacked at Godhra allegedly by a Muslim mob[112][113] as per a preplanned conspiracy.[114] 58 Hindu pilgrims, including 25 women and 15 children, returning from Ayodhya, were killed in the attack. This incident is not an isolated incident in the Gujarat state, in other states in India, especially in rural area violence between Muslims and Hindus is a common occurrence, that can result in fatalities"

Yes, they are being victimized in every country where Islam is the dominant religion.
Do you dispute that?
Go on, you know you want to....I've got a fukk load of evidence that proves otherwise.
"Do you feel lucky punk?"

Fighting it starts with making as many people as you can aware of the facts about Islam and the threat it poses.
Wherever there are Muslims in large numbers there is a portion of their community that is prepared to kill, attack and harm non-Muslims in the name of their religion.
Indisputable fact I'm afraid.

I thought you wasn't going to impose our ways on people overseas when I questioned you now your talking about every country where Islam is dominant, which is not here so is overseas, you said you would fight now you are saying you will talk.

If Muslims are considered British then equally so Pineapples and Mangoes must be a traditional British Comestible

Try growing a f&£"@ng Pineapple or Mango to maturity in our Sceptr'd Isle and displaying it at the next Harvest Festival..

Unless of course said Harvest Festival gets banned by a load of Trotskyite Guardianista Arsewipe Councillors of the liberal delusionist persuasion as a glaring example of Pro-Christian Facism..

Build your gallows high Westerners....it's going to be a long drop.
