Jemaine Jenas:

""As a footballer you look at Swansea and you want to play for them. They have an attractive style of play.

"Kyle Naughton is an example of a good players who had been, you could argue, discarded by his previous club, but he did really well against Eden Hazard yesterday. He’s slotted in at right-back and has rediscovered his career again.""

Sounds like a cry for help, still a free agent technically isn't he?

Fair point on Naughton. He's barely had a mention what with other more eye catching performances but he kept a good lid on Hazard all game.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

I think Naughton has been far better than most of us thought he would be to be fair

He's improved as he's gained game time but I'd still like to see Rangel behind Ayew.- that IMO would add an extra platform for attack.

Naughton is doing well. If he joined a team like Soton and performed as he has there then he would not be far off a England call.

As much as I like him Rangel's days as first pick are over.

I thought he was overpriced at the time when we got him from Spurs.

Glad to be proved wrong and hope he goes from strength to strength.

Spurs thought they'd seen us off for him, the scousers too, thought they'd sold us a lame duck....
whereas in reality they were tidy players with potential, who just needed a decent manager and coaching team to get the best out of them👍

I thought it was blatantly obvious the day we signed Naughton myself.

Anyone else catch Lawrenson saying we would never be relegated so a player can relax knowing they won't be constrained in the way they play by a relegation battle

Naughton has always been a good player in fact better than Walker, except nobody except us believed that.

Thought Naughton looked shaky all day tbh. Gave the ball away frequently, and had gone awol for both of their goals.

Few good touches going forward but even they were followed by indecision and/or a handball when trying to use his chest.

Better than Rangel only by virtue of Rangel not being the player he was any more.

Rory Smith in Twitter today said: Swansea have perfected the art of having players who are really good, but not quite trendy enough for anyone to come and sign.

Naughton is a good example of that.
