The R's in NZ. 01:02 - Dec 14 with 2844 viewsWilloW4

My son lives in New Zealand and is a staunch Qpr fan, whilst he and his girlfriend were shopping in a local supermarket, outside they saw a number plate with QPR 1 outside, his girlfriend said look .."it's the Auckland R's "... They met up and had a chat, becoming friends and organising a 'hoops'' do in Auckland..I'm proud of my boy to start a new QPR chapter.

My family are out there at the moment for my uncles 60th and we were meant to go ,but we had to lie and say we couldn't because we had work commitments , but really we lied because we were going through ivf. Today we found out that it all worked and had 11 week scann and everything is good. Can't wait to tell the family in NZ all is good. Btw our 12 week scan is this Thursday , but we've been doing ivf and we had a bit of a bad one this year so the missus wanted to pay for an early scan so we did it today and all is good and we have Twins
Just found out today that I'm having twins and all I can think about is 3 season tickets! Even if they are girls! Any advice ?

The only advice I can tell you is to enjoy every minute as they grow up so quick.

Massive congratulations to you and your wife

Congrats and all that and here's hoping for a calm 6 months!! I have 3 girls and the youngest aged 6 just attended her first game against Leicester - her older sisters complained that its not fair as their first games we lost and drew 0-0. I have one season ticket between them and it works well as one of them is either at a party, shopping being a teenager or says its too cold, hot, rainy or sunny - but most of the time one comes with me - otherwise we upgrade and take a mate!!

Definitely need reinforcements as my missus has just seen that UpperLoft has included her in our wee gang! While she does share the pain of being a supporter (courtesy of me) I'm not quite sure of her full and committed participation....
Can honestly say that sharing the Play Off victory down here with a lounge full of fellow R's was about as good as its got over the past 39yrs.

Yep few of us out here now.

We usually have 4 of us meet up and watch a game when the time is right. Nice to have more fans out this way! Tell your son he is more than welcome to be a part of an elite group of mad nutters!

Poll: Do you think this current QPR team has got what is takes to go up this year?

Any advice when you'll be the only man in the house vs 3 ladies? Give up now.

Seriously, though, congrats, great news.

And you won't have to pay for U16 tickets until the 2023 season.

Just wondering what you kiwi based R's think of CHRIS WOOD?

He's a striker I've been banging on about based purely on what I've seen on the box
I think he can easily do the point man job at this level and chip in with a goal or three
I also think should we drop he'd be an asset in the Championship

What's the word from his homeland?

Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal

Was working (as a photographer) at the Asian Cup last night in Canberra (UAE v QATAR) game and while all were standing for the national anthems, noted someone near the front row of a stand with a QPR top on. Caught up with him at half-time and tried to convince him to join this and the Oz fans facebook page.And.. for those from Oz, you may be interested to know that Mike Cockerill, formerly of the SMH and now a FoxSports commentator is also a QPR fan.
