Sporting Bucket List 16:32 - Oct 30 with 3131 viewsFar_Post

About 10 years ago I put together a bucket list of sporting achievements I wanted to see before I die. Most seemed impossible at the time but everything on this list has happened and now I am stuck trying to come up with a new one. The list i put together had the following;

1. To see Swansea City in the Premier League
2. To see the Swans win a major trophy
3. For Wales to win the Grand Slam in the Six Nations
4. See a British player win Wimbledon
5. Witness a Home Olympic Games in the UK
6. Back a Grand National Winner

I think a new list would have to include Wales qualifying for a major tournament in football. I think being at Wembley to see the Swans in an FA Cup final would be another. Anybody have any others?

I'm not sure backing the Grand National winner counts as a sporting achievement, but if it does then my list wuld be
1) Get my sixfold correct scores acca up on Saturday
2) See a World Cup final in Moscow/Ashes test in Oz/Wales win rugby world cup anywhere
3) send my kids to a Wimbledon final - tennis is for kids

Can’t say I have a sporting bucket list, or even a bucket list, but…

I’d love to see Wales with the rugby world cup, or even a win against NZ would be up there and almost unimaginable.

Swans win the FA Cup, Premier League, and Champions League, and Superbowl — in the same season.

Watch Cardiff drop to the 10th tier of English football, before going out of existence.

Wales to win the football world cup.

Back a Grand National winner - with Leon Britton as the jockey.
