Can't afford to lose him this season, especially if we are going to be without Bony for a long stretch in January.

Wonder what kind of lump sum was paid to keep him within our wage structure given the wage demands he had reportedly made of other clubs - no vasquez equivalent in any way.
Presumably if he has a release clause it will be aimed at more than covering that. Can you imagine how distraught Bony would have been getting so little game time. He was playing full European games and averaging 40mins even in the early PL games. We have to find a way to give Gomis a chance especially as we will be relying on him when Bony away. | | | |
