Frank Burrows left the club (we had lost 3-0 at Burnley a few days earlier).

One of the great managers in our history.
What is everyone's best memory under Frank?
FA Cup 2-1 v Cardiff
Play-offs 93?
Wycombe 94?
Wembley 94?

I also remember him on the microphone at 245pm at Elm Park in May 93 begging the Swans fans to stay in the away end.

Yeah the plea at Elm Park in one of the most memorable ones for me

Can remember numerous throws of his cap to the floor while sitting outside the edge of the vetch dug out.

Awesome heart on sleeve moments!!

This is Patches O'Houlihan saying "Take care of your balls, and they'll take care of you."

When he first came to us I can remember certain sections booing him because of his history with "them up the road" .

Soon forgotten though and he worked minor miracles with sod all money. Legend.

I can remember him trying to keep the fans expectations in check when it was rumoured we were in for Bernie Slaven! How times have changed!

I don't know if the club have given him the pre game or half time on the pitch treatment but if he isn't coaching one Saturday or Sunday I'd love to see him at the liberty

Each time I go to Bedd - au........................

Considering that he was an uncompromising, kick anything in his way, type of centre half, he produced teams that tried to play attractive football, given the Division we were in at the time. Also, if my memory serves me right, didn't he send Jason Bowen on as sub in one match and then substituted him (not injured) because he wasn't carrying out his instructions. I recall he did plenty of cap throwing to the ground on that occasion.

Did a great job given our limited resources.

I know we've had amazing success over the past few years, but under Frankie Burrows was probably my favourite time supporting the Swans.

John Williams the flying postie? Very quick player.
If I remember right, didn't we sell him to Coventry for good (in those days) money
FB, a really gruff, hard b'stard but what a passion for football the lad has.
Really nice bloke to talk too and very knowledgeable as well.
Found my programme and scarf for the Autoglass when we moved. Excellent day out, except me car had been broken into, cos stupidly, I'd left it in the Quadrant car park and went up by official bus from by the Jack

If you wake up breathing, thats a good start to your day and you'll make many thousands of people envious.

Darlo away '92. The nearby cricket pavilion was opened up, with a 'spread' put on for the small number of travelling Jacks, fair play. We sat outside the pavilion, with a sarnie and a pint on a nice sunny day, and who walked by? Yes, Frankie. He stopped for a good chat and a couple of photos - Top Man.

West Brom Play Off Semi home. Vetch was bouncing. Then listening to the away Semi - gutted.
