His managerial career is not PL though. Does that make a difference?

Perhaps Rene Meulensteen would come to us and give Garry a hand. A guy who worked for SAF and was prematurely sacked by Fulham might fancy a job.

Good shout......he spoke a lot of sense on Goals on Sunday...apart from sympathising with Ole's plight with the Redturds (no doubt because of their Utd connection).

Heard Mersons been sniffing around...not to do with Garry though, just another of his recreational habits

John Beck as in used to purposely keep the corner of his pitches at Lincoln and Cambridge in long grass to hold the ball up after his team had purposely hoofed it there to chase and win territory...you youngsters reading this won't beleive football was like that and his cambridge team in particular was very successful

Oh,..Dave, what's occuring?

Beck is a genius idea. Gamesmanship such as the tactical repositioning of the away team dugout, ensuring the grass around the corner area is longer so as to slow the ball down when played in that part of the pitch, and the practice of throwing buckets of cold water over players before a match, is just what we need to move to the next level. He'd certainly recommend a Plan B for us if we were stuck.

It will be very interesting to see...

A. Who Garry chooses as his no 2?
B. If he gets to choose a no 2 himself?
C. Chooses the easy option of using someone who is already there?

Such interesting times ahead

is probably just going to involve a shuffle round. Curtis / clotet assisting Monk with KOL and probably someone like tate looking after the u21's. trundle may well be in there too.
if the board cant be arsed to look far for the top man, cant see them busting a gut for his back up staff

KOL

Seeing him jump up and down on the bench against Southampton shouting at players was quite amusing. He was the biggest liability ever.
